18 years! What a joke? For a stone cold premeditated slaughter.
Hopefully, when he becomes eligible for parole, it will be denied and denied for many, many years.
@@dorindadouglas2847 He wont , these counties like NZ have more smypaty for their killers than the victims.😝
the golden rule Theres no friends in drugs
I love the Australian/New Zealand accent. That sing~songy way that they end their sentences like they are asking a question identifies their accent immediately 😆 Awesome 🥰
Are you referring to when they say "tarpaulin?" The long word for tarp? Haha. I also like how they say "skeletal." 😊
@@ennds4636 ~ Yup! Once they pronounced it more clearly, I deleted that part of my comment! 🤣
Some of the verbiage was hard for this American 🇺🇸 to figure out what they meant 😂
Surely us Aussies don’t have an accent 😉. We say our r’s like the Boston’s in we don’t say our r’s. 😏. Thanks for liking how we sound…although similar to the New Zealanders they pronounce their i’s like u’s. Aussies pronounce fish & chips “fish & chips” & NZ pronounce the same word as “fush & chups”. Of course there are other subtle differences. 🫶
11:15 & throw in a Mancunian accent (Manchester in the north of England). 🏴
I have never heard the word Subaru pronounced like that! It’s both jarring and kind of endearing!
Hahahaha. We feel that way when we hear Americans pronounce Hyundai - that's jarring and weird, but kinda endearing too. 😂 Enjoy your day mate.
Or when they say Nissan, it's like they are saying Kneeson.
I don't think I've ever heard an American say Subaru so I'll have to watch out for how they say that now too 😂
considering its a japanese word, they pronounced it pretty close to its original pronunciation!
@@CourtneyTunbridge79 considering its a japanese word, they pronounced it pretty close to its original pronunciation!
@@CourtneyTunbridge79 yeah, Nissan is another one that sounds wrong to our southern ears when others pronounce it. I've never heard the actual pronunciation of it tho, so I'm not going to insist that our way is correct, but it is an I and not an E, so who knows.
Love these videos. Also love the way these men pronounce "Subaru"
I kept thinking I heard blue Sparrow 🐦until I saw the car. It is fun to listen to English speaking ascents from all over the world to hear different pronunciations.
The videos on this channel are top-notch, just really great content. Happy New Year from Texas, and thank you so much for all the great videos!
Even though I’m Australian, I watch so many stories based in America or Canada it seems strange to hear a NZ or Aussies accents. 😌. New Zealand is a beautiful country. I’ve visited the north island & looking forward to seeing the south. Btw…great detective & forensic work 👌
And it’s beautiful and the country is beautiful 👍👍👍🤣🤣🤣🤣 , I think the same way about my country people and language 🙏🤣🤣🤣👍
@@PamelaGlasgow-ll5ur Scotland is a beautiful country. I visited my grandfathers place of birth Dumbarton plus the east coast.
Ikr, I'm Australian too, and I get thrown when I hear our accent pop up on YT or a crime show on here, idk why but it just throws me. Sending hi's from Sydney ❤
@@PamelaGlasgow-ll5urI would love so much to visit Scotland, I love that cold, rainy, damp weather also, but everything I have ever seen and heard about Scotland just makes me want to go. ❤❤❤❤
I get tired of watching American true crime. Probably doesn't help that my city is high crime itself. anyway, i prefer UK history and UK/NZ/AUS true crime 😄
I moved to Wellington in 2011 and never heard this story. Saying that there are some truly dodgy characters , lots of gangs. Mongrel mob is one of them , I honestly thought it was a joke at first, then I spotted one! Had to laugh as they look truly terrifying, laughing was the only response !
Very impressive work from the forensic team and investigators! 👍
Can this guy be any more of a muppet
This upload is top-shelf. No funky editing. New sub. Notification 🛎 on.
They were "pretty sure this was a homicide." What a ridiculous statement.
Good work guys 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 what you did is excellence magnified times 1000👍👍👍👍👍
"'Da popo don't know nada,' -- well this didn't prove to be true." HAHAHA
But it did actually prove to be true because the double negatives in the sentence meant the po-po DO know something.
Great episode. Law enforcement and all others involved well done.🙏💪👏👏👏
Thanks!
Great investigation
sue-bar-oo 😂
Two minutes in,who could do this kind of horrific to another?
Thank you from New Zealand
Great episode but there is only one thing. I don't like watching documentaries from New Zealand and Australia because they issue very lenient jail terms.
Unfortunately it is not just Australia and NZ. It is a trend across all progressive democratic countries. US often issues more ridiculous low level of punishments.
Gruesome.
They pronounce House more like Has!
drug business is dangerous
Nit fair!! Nit even pass 20 year mark!! Extremely disappointed!;
That wasn't a wrx in the car wash
3:56 Thats a very big dog!
he should have gotten at least 25 years.
2:38 Is that the body just lying there not covered?
I DO AS WELL !
18 years very little
I live the accent too
I'm sure that Americans say Subaru wrong, but it took me forever to figure out that's the kind of car they were talking about.
Sue-BAR-oo vs sue-bu-roo

If I lived in N.Z. when my Old lady ran off with my best friend, I was 28, 17 yrs for 1st degree, wow I would have gotten out when I was 45. Oh yeah, definitely worth it.
The wannabe nigel latta
And I thought Americans butchered the pronunciation of words...
Well, we do. But at the beginning of this I thought the officer was saying weir and then I realized no weir was involved, lol.
@@SnowFlake-tz4dl At least we use proper pronunciation No i's for e's nonsense.

Urgh get to the point
Amazingly talented team of investigators! This murderer is a very evil and frightening man. Never let him out of prison. EVER!
