It's really tough to go up against the leading Chinese brands Geely and MG. Geely's got Volvo tech and powerful engine while MG's got the British heritage and the affordable pricing of the ZS.
@@domengx2615 Changan is big in China, but isn't on the best-selling brands in the Philippines yet. It is currently distributed by Hyundai Asia Resources Inc here. Last time I checked only Geely and MG made it to the Top 10 selling brands in the Philippines in 2020 and the first quarter of 2021. Another Chinese brand Foton is still in the Top 20.
Chery and Jaguar Land Rover shared technology since 2012 in china..It's now levelling up.
Still China tho. U can have all the tech u wanted but still a piece of crap. Why waste money on china vehicles if you know they wont last.😂😂😂
GAC i think is the number 1 state owned car company in China.
Chery just keeps on improving along with other China Cars... Price is very reasonable and competitive against Japanese and even Korean Brands. I just hope they already master the quality and reliability for long term ownership.

Classy: In a way,.You could really take this to your business trips and also to date nights with your girlfriend nor your wife,,..To a high class restaurant 😉
getting this after having a sedan like vios is a big upgrade, I must say well done.
Coolray still is the best looking crossover. I got one for my dad. He loves it.

When Caco uses the term "to be completely honest..." several times in the review... You'd know how much work they have to do to gloss over the flaws of this car with the price point that they have. Yikes, seems like they're trying to appease the car manufacturer so they won't get blacklisted from getting review cars.

Comfortable interior
Good infotainment and speakers
Driving feels a bit numb
Good for an A to B car but not for someone who enjoys driving
Suits city life with small engine and light steering
Would've been a buy if the fuel economy was better😗

@@ArcherArios22 what i was pointing out specially for chery is that with prices of their units, you'll also get the best in the market with their warranties and free pms. Imagine 10yr engine warranty, 5yr general warranty, and 3yr free pms for a price of chery tigo 2 for example which is around 770k? Not bad.
@@ArcherArios22 comparing to Mazda where Mazda 2 is their cheapest at 900k+. Well, you won't go wrong with Mazda for premium quality and features.

Based on reviews that I watched or read, Chery still has a lot of flaws compared to other Chinese car brands (sorry Chery Phils., I personally want the brand to succeed, but the vehicles are not yet good). Based on reviews, my shortlist of Chinese car brands: Geely (ASEAN & C NCAP safety ratings, performance, technology), GAC (performance, durability), and Changan (performance, durability). A bit impressed with MG, but still outside the 3 brands mentioned.
