for first timer, its hard to build a tent without the manual. i tried doing that, it took me about 2hrs. lol!

How come so many koreans struggle with putting up tents? Is it because they always use the one touch tents and get impatient when it takes too much time? I'm just curious because most people I know can do it quite easily, even young girls who have never set up tents before.

Maybe they don't get to experience that a lot, as for me, I learned it during middle school and high school, schools in my country usually have a lot of programs that teach this kind of experience. I guess maybe Koreans do not have that. And their culture seems to instill a lot of doing things hurriedly, so patience is not their virtue I guess...I'm not dissing them, I mean culture can play a role in that kind of things. We are just different in that.

It's not just koreans. Putting up a regular tent for the first time is a bit confusing and can take a bit for anyone. The one touch ones are easy but a bit bulkier so in those cases a "regular pole tent" is easier to bring harder to set up though.
