If adrienette happens Mari would be super happy that adrien likes her for her but adrien won’t after the reveal bc in s4 ep2 “Lie” he told kagami “What if that’s the real me?” He was referring to his chat noir pose when she was drawing him so he’d realize that she didn’t like his chatnoir side the real him. If it’s ladynoir adrien is gonna be happy that she likes him for him either way but Mari won’t when she realizes he doesn’t like her real personality. If it’s ladrien well neither of them would be happy cuz they don’t like the real side of eachother rather they like the fake front. And well ladrien would make 0 sense they didn’t spend enough time with each other to make a relationship out of it. So Marichat would be the perfect ship that needs to happen before the reveal or it‘ll just end in a disaster

This reveal, is good in a fantastic and realistic way. The way they are hurt and at the same time in love but don’t know how to handle the situation and needs a LOT to talk about before they quickly moves on with the nonrealistic happy ever after ending that some other comics do. (No offense to their work tho!)
