Chronicles of the 60th Birthday | Unreleased Footage of Sai Baba from the 1980s - PART 2

PART 2 of the Footage - A Momentous Birthday celebration for Sathya Sai Baba occurred in 1985, marking the 60th year of His mission. It was a time when people all over the world were finding out about Sai. My father (Cosby Powell) was personally invited by Swami to come and he was allowed to film the proceedings - his footage (and footage shot by Jack Lenchiner) of several events surrounding the celebrations is here included - the vast majority of it previously unreleased.
It will be a treat for devotees to see, and captures Swami in His glory from the 80s, including inaugurating the planetarium, some unique darshan footage, shots from Hillview Stadium and more. This birthday marked the the first time One Miliion people came to the village where Sai Baba was born to attend His birthday celebrations (a more common occurrence in later years).
These moving pictures of the avatar in these earlier years are precious (be they shot with cameras less sophisticated than todays) supported by a classic soundtrack with soul stirring vintage bhajans from yesteryear. We hope you enjoy!
