  • How to pitch and pack your Nordisk Otra.
    Invite the outdoors in!
The Otra is pretty much an open-ended invitation to let nature join you closely, wherever you go. It allows you to open all 4 sides of the flysheet for an uninterrupted airflow and a 360 view of nature around you.
Its geodetic construction adds stability and a great sense of space. Even though we categorize this as a two person tent, it easily accomodates 4 tired adventureres sitting around a deck of cards, with comfortable headroom for everyone. With entrance and apsis in both sides, you get plenty of storage and cooking space, optimal airflow and your own private nighttime exit, so you don’t have to wake up your roommate to get out..
The all-mesh cabin provides a remarkable inner climate with fantastic ventilation, supported by the option of opening all 4 sides to let nature come even closer and to tailor the tent completely to fit your needs.
Apart from the normal wall pockets for storage, The Otra also features a ceiling net for your phone, wallet or flash light.
Making sure it will suit you in every possible situation, it can even be pitched either as standalone flysheet as shelter or as a standalone mesh cabin, adding to Otras already impressive feature list.

After one night i can tell the following: material feels solid, bright inside (it’s really build to enjoy nature and open up the tent), around 4.3 kg everything together, very well ventilated, good zippers, good amount of pockets etc inside, suitable for tall persons. Not sure about all those plastic clipper thingies yet. If you or somebody steps on them and they break…. ? Let‘s see how it performs under rain and worse weather.

@@elliottwright3772 absolutely great. Pros: Big doors, very specious, lot of pockets.
      Cons: heavy.

Be careful. Fly fabric tears easily if you peg out tight. Used it for 9 days and it's torn already. Tape on the seems looks like it was cut and stuck by a child with many places not even having any glue. Shoddy workmanship and for the price it should be nylon.
