The Darkest Shore Easter Egg Speedrun Solo World Record

- List of skips and improvements below:
Main skips:
1. Remote bomber escorting - this is a very noticeably time saving skip but generates additional problems (not loaded battery for second artilery cannon shot and later getting wustling spine without time waste is harder). This is quite easy skip and can be done without nuke consumable almost everytime after few tries. Opening the door to a secret room and later entering it for first boss fight work like two nukes. Timing is important and it's easier to succeed when gate near SVT wallbuy is opened - bomber will choose that way. Leaving 1 zombie on round 9 while entering minecart works best for me. Depending on timing, while leaving a secret room the round 10 may end or 1-2 pests may still be chasing the bomber.
2. Meuchler task skip - this is original, complicated but very interesting skip.
- There are 26 spots where meuchler can hide around this map. He won't hide in the same place again during this task.
- First meuchler will choose random spot to hide(except the room/place where the player is at the moment he enters a hole in a wall in u-boot area). Sometimes he can be found running to his chosen hiding spot before he reaches that place. Nice tip is to use central cannon just before first meuchler spawns on a map. Some zombies will attack cannon while others will immiedietly run towards meuchler as he enter map giving a hint where to run (He can be found even before he reaches hiding place and starts screaming - this can save time).
- The most interesting part I found after some researching is that the second and third meuchler hiding spots are not random but 100% dependent on player position. Meuchler uses his ability to locate the player position during fog. He will always choose the furthest spot from player actual position (the next hiding spot is chosen when he escapes map after being hit (when he enters hole etc). Becouse of how this map is constructed furthest spots will be always near PAP area (3 spots) or on the beach (3 spots) + one near electric blitz (but only for few seconds while we ride down mine cart). If he has already used the furthest hiding spot he will choose a spot closest to that furthest spot.
So knowing how he will choose places to hide we can prepare a trap for him before task begins.
Satchel is a good choice. When 2 satchels are already placed in hiding spots throwing third will detonate first placed bomb( damaging second meuchler)(this happens becouse only 2 satchels can be placed at the same time). Throwing fourth will detonate second placed satchel damaging third and last meuchler. The door to secret room closes not when last meuchler is damaged but when he leaves map. Every hiding spot has other escaping path and time meuchler needs to reach a hole.
There are many strategies here that can be used depending on what we want to do meantime(shooting the last plane/geting wustling spine/riding to a secret room)
In both runs I've uploaded today I forced second meuchler to spawn on a beach near dead whale and decided that last one will be near PAP spot. (If I wanted last meuchler to spawn near mystery box on a beach I would place satchel there (instead of PAP) and also instead detonating first satchel while riding cart I would do it near lever.... next I would wait near cart entrance ~12-15 sec (time needed for damaged meuchler near dead whale to exit map and meuchler near mystery box to be ready to be hit).
After throwing satchel in a secret room which caused satchel placed near PAP to explode damaging last Meuchler I had ~14 sec (time he needs to enter the hole inside bunker/until end of whole task/until the door to a secret room closes) to harvest active Wustling spine. I got it in last second. It was nice.
In both runs this skip saves nice amount of time but believe me it can be even more helpful and spectacular with specific rng.
Two new additional skips are possible in next runs ~10-20 sec. time save/each game.
I need to test it and learn how to use it every game. I'll keep it a secret for now.
List of changes/improvements that I've recently found and can be used to save time. Some of them are seen in uploaded runs.
- faster spine harvesting along the walls, handrails etc.
- often getting pest spine during lockdown with only a small time waste
- more cannon jumps
- round with fog on a beach like in R30 speedrun (very nice power-up distribution, great jolts and fast round time (... but unfortunately not in this run as fog started very late and no nuke spawned)
- different routes after lockdown depending on son of nerthus location and pest position
- shooting moving warships and adjusting coordinates can save run sometimes
- buying SVT later saves money for additional cannon jump during pest step
- learnt not to rage with ripsaw because it's a waste of time
- faster boss fight (with phase 1 like in SDR_Neo run) - in my (no consumables) version it is done correctly...not in this run.

This is literally insane, I just beat the map solo after 5 tries, you are amazing at this game brother. Btw this is probably the hardest boss fight, seems unfair at times.
Gz for completing it. Bossfight is really hard solo without free fire or De Lisle.

Yeah run speed it the same but the dps is bigger. Basically double IMO because youre running with 2 pistols that would take you same time to unload as one pistol

Hey nice run ! I was wondering , with all the test you do etc , do you have something for unlocking consumables ? I speedruning Frozen Dawn w/ consum in 2020-2021 but stopped it because ran out of hearth things.
Farm Zombies Orders and Contractsn they grant you Zombies Supply drops and Consumable Supply drops, they're all extremely easy to farm.
1st i was wondering if your playing on steam, or using playstation remote play, and i also wanted to know if you were using a auto clicker for your SAP and wanted to know what it is (i have a auto clicker for only left mouse click and not right)

How did he get the sustains to pass stamina up after going that closely? I literally went as far as possible, and he still goes for it.
Try and hug the wall and shoot him a bit, if he starts to walk the wrong way then shooting him will grab his attention.

Upgraded SVT, SAP or De Lisle. Use strat and loadouts from duo speedruns.

Do you know the points glitch on the beach?, would that help open map or would that waste time
It is nice for low round jolts... but yes it's a waste of time doing it.

can we get a Weapon Attachment list, like for your SVT and your Pistols, I've been getting so close to finishing this and i keep dying on the boss fight, I feel it would be easier if i were using your guns, seeing as how fast you completely destroyed the boss lol.
Most important for SVT is: high caliber as this gun has the highest headshot damage multiplier. I usually use high caliber, steady aim, advanced rifling and extended mag on most guns.

If u have a nvidia graphics card use it to change the graphic settings for the game and it should fix the problem.

Any tips for dealing with the actual zombies during boss fight ? Anytime I do it the zombies run at me but in this speedrun they just seem to stand around idk

I’m stuck on this egg, for some reason when I put a normal zombie’s spine into the bucket, it doesn’t spawn in a zombie to escort to the beach to retrieve the idol from the sea. When I put the spine in the bucket it just spawns a normal zombie that attacks me till I kill it. Am I soft locked? :-/
This part is sometimes bugged when you do other things between placing spine and before zombie is lifted. For example you can't use mine cart too fast after placing spine becouse glitched zombie can spawn near kugelblitz. Try to place normal zombie spine after pest sacrifice is lifted and moves around lockdown area.
how do you instantly grab the gun from pack a punch?
By pressing 2x "use" button. On PC default keybind for "use" is "F".
How do you do the faster execution to pull the spine?
Try harvesting spines running along(and near) the walls, handrails etc.
How did you skip the bomber escort?
I "escort him" while getting mechuler spine and fighting pest boss. Opening secret room works like nuke. Entering inside to fight boss also kills all zombies.
what attachments do you run on the SVT?
In this run... reflex sight, steady aim, rapid fire and high caliber.

This can be done by attacking/harvesting along the walls, handrails etc.

Bro am I missing something or is this dude cheating. If you really watch, He pack a punched the 9mm SAP and never picked them up but somehow had the pack a punched version later when he pulled them out again. And like I said he never picked them up so how did he have them 😅😅😅😂

As a veteran of this game, the truth is that I don't find it brilliant at all, the fact that they show a speed run... better show us how brilliant you become in all the darkest shore challenges to unlock characters, mister new strat lol
