- The Garden of Morning Calm
The Garden of Morning Calm is a horticultural arboretum designed by horticulturalically harmonizing gardens full of Korean beauty against the backdrop of the outstanding natural scenery of Chukryeongsan Mountain. It has a variety of distinctive gardens, and offers a shelter for urban residents as they can enjoy forest bathing under the dense pine tree forest. It was named by a designer (Han Sang-kyung, a professor of horticulture at Samyuk University) and opened in May 1996. The 20-themed garden is connected to a beautifully cultivated lawn, flowerbeds, and natural trails. In particular, Hakyung Garden, which created the beautiful Geumsu River Mountain in the shape of the actual topography of the Korean Peninsula to express it as the highest flower, attracts the most attention from tourists. In addition, 5,000 kinds of plants, including 300 species of Baekdusan Mountain plants, can be found here. Starting with the movie "Let's Write," it is known as a filming location for movies "The Joseon Detective," "Addiction," dramas "My Golden Life," "Let's Hold Our Hands and See the Sunset," "Jugglers," "The Prince," "Black," "School 2017," "The King Love," "Introverted Boss," "Laughing East Sea," "The Man's Love," entertainment show "Infinite Challenge," and documentary "The Best Success Documentary," attracting many tourists.

The 17th annual "Glorious Starlight Garden Exhibition" is a night lighting event that expresses a special theme throughout the 100,000 pyeong outdoor garden by using colorful lights and lights. In pursuit of harmony between nature and light, the "Glorious Starlight Garden Exhibition," a new light landscape attempted in Korea, is loved by many visitors as it allows them to feel the beauty of Korean nature even under artificial lighting. Held every year between December and March (winter), the "Glorious Starlight Garden Exhibition" will be a venue for a colorful light festival drawn using LED lights, an eco-friendly material, as a sketch for the entire garden in the arboretum.
