Diana is the ultimate beauty, and I can’t imagine what she would’ve thought of today’s unattainable (for most people anyway) beauty standards that are immersed in plastic surgery etc🤷🏻♀️. I can’t be 100% certain obviously, but I’m fairly sure, especially considering how beautiful she was not only outside, but especially inside, and didn’t have plastic surgery, that she’d be so disappointed in the shallowness of it all. What? If you believe Charles was ignoring Diana then open your eyes. The video starts with him talking to Diana about the small windows on the airplane. ~~~~~•• Part of what I find hard to understand is so many of Diana's fans think she was supposed to be the center of attention (Like Barbie doll, Ken doll is the accessory). Charles is not a Ken doll. He was supposed to be the bigger celebrity and she was expected to be the supportive wife. Compare how supportive Kate Middleton is to William with how Diana interacted with Charles and the public. By 1986 Diana was competing with Charles for public attention.
@@karlamccullough8614 Look how supportive William is towards Kate and how hurtful Charles was towards Diana. Charles left Diana alone during their honeymoon, he closed himself into a room on their boat and spent the time reading some books. In the first interview as a married couple his answer to the question, if they were in love, was: "whatever love means", while Diana immediately answered "of course"... Remember their wedding was known as a fairy tale to the public eye and this was his reaction. The palace had chosen her to make him look better.
@@karlamccullough8614 "Charles got married because his dad told him so, he got divorced because his mum told him he had to". What a painful joke.He did not deserve Diana.
@@thistime3889 not 100% accurate. His comment "what ever love means" was from the interview just after they announced the engagement, February 1981. ~~~~~~~ It was an arranged marriage. During the 1970s Charles had dated over 30 potential brides, including Diana's sister Sarah. He proposed to two and was turned down. They were running out of options to find a bride that met or came close to the royal family marriage criteria. Diana met the criteria. Charles didn't pick Diana. The queen mother and Diana's family arranged the 1980 meeting and the 1981 wedding. Diana knew it was an arranged marriage, she knew Charles didn't love her, he told her he didn't love her before they married, not to hurt her but to help her understand what she was getting into. ~~~~~~ There were noticeable clues he didn't love her. When Charles proposed and Diana said yes, Charles didn't act happy, didn't show affection, instead he phoned his mother and said something like "She said yes, the deed is done." I watched the wedding in 1981, I knew he didn't love her. They didn't know each other before the wedding, they had met 12 or 13 times. They had different expectations. I believe Diana was in love with her fantasy of Charles, she was expecting him to be her fantasy prince charming of her dreams. Charles is not prince charming, he's stoic. ~~~~~ The honeymoon was a disaster. Diana was overwhelming by the wedding and the media attention. She was binge eating and purging multiple times a day on the honeymoon. Not exactly an afridishiac. They went on a 14 day cruise on the royal yacht and then spent time at Balmoral castle in the Scottish country side. Charles had expected a relaxing vacation to get to know each other. He brought books to read and his art supplies. Diana expected his full attention and she became angry. Charles is an introvert, he needs time alone, his childhood was extremely dysfunctional. He hoped she would be interested in his hobbies. He was never capable of fulfilling all her emotional needs and deal with her self destructive behaviors. She was extremely emotionally needy. Diana was so angry she destroyed his art work and tossed out his art supplies. She hated the cruise, hated the Scottish country side, and hated his books. Charles is a college graduate with intellectual interests. Diana dropped out of school at age 16, she read romance novels. They didn't have any common interests.
@@c.c.6930 Diana should have and could have refused the engagement. Diana knew it was an arranged marriage and she knew Charles didn't love her. She decided to marry him. She had unrealistic expectations and was disappointed, became angry, combative and competitive for public attention. They were not compatible. Both were from dysfunctional families and unhappy childhoods. Both didn't meet each other's needs. Both were miserable by 1986.
Diana was a young, unstable girl when she married her prince. Over the time she seemed to grow more mature but it was already too late. Mummy Camilla stepped in and sticked to Chuck like power glue.
I am surprised Diana wanted to be princess of wales so bad, surely growing up privileged in the Spencer home she heard how the royal life could be. But that she went ahead with it tells it all. Honestly people practically worship the royals. Worship Jesus who saves the soul.
She only lived in the Spencer home after her father became Earl - less than 2 years. She grew up in a rented house on the Sandringham Estate. She grew up playing with Prince Edward and Prince Andrew. She and her family were desperate for a royal title.
@@Prieze868 Without Princess Diana there would most likely not be a Royal today. She gave them 2 sons and the one who most looked like Diana will carry her legacy even today through Prince William & Catherine as he chose a woman who reminded him of his mother. And we live Catherine as much as we did Diana.
I'm no fan of Charles, but at the beginning of this video Diana completely ignores him, seen her do this on numerous occasions. She turns her head away when he starts speaking. A bit rude I think, but I guess she was just tired of pretending.
@@julesmonteith1613 Diana was ignoring Charles. He was almost always the one trying to reach out to her in photos and film footage from the early years. Not the other way around. I am fed up with the man hating harpies who seem to make up the majority of the Diana Cult.

Part of what I find hard to understand is so many of Diana's fans think she was supposed to be the center of attention (Like Barbie doll, Ken doll is the accessory).
~~~~~~~
It was an arranged marriage. During the 1970s Charles had dated over 30 potential brides, including Diana's sister Sarah. He proposed to two and was turned down. They were running out of options to find a bride that met or came close to the royal family marriage criteria. Diana met the criteria. Charles didn't pick Diana. The queen mother and Diana's family arranged the 1980 meeting and the 1981 wedding.
Diana knew it was an arranged marriage, she knew Charles didn't love her, he told her he didn't love her before they married, not to hurt her but to help her understand what she was getting into.
~~~~~~
There were noticeable clues he didn't love her. When Charles proposed and Diana said yes, Charles didn't act happy, didn't show affection, instead he phoned his mother and said something like "She said yes, the deed is done."
I watched the wedding in 1981, I knew he didn't love her.
They didn't know each other before the wedding, they had met 12 or 13 times. They had different expectations. I believe Diana was in love with her fantasy of Charles, she was expecting him to be her fantasy prince charming of her dreams. Charles is not prince charming, he's stoic.
~~~~~
The honeymoon was a disaster. Diana was
overwhelming by the wedding and the media attention. She was binge eating and purging multiple times a day on the honeymoon. Not exactly an afridishiac.
They went on a 14 day cruise on the royal yacht and then spent time at Balmoral castle in the Scottish country side.
Charles had expected a relaxing vacation to get to know each other. He brought books to read and his art supplies. Diana expected his full attention and she became angry. Charles is an introvert, he needs time alone, his childhood was extremely dysfunctional. He hoped she would be interested in his hobbies. He was never capable of fulfilling all her emotional needs and deal with her self destructive behaviors. She was extremely emotionally needy. Diana was so angry she destroyed his art work and tossed out his art supplies. She hated the cruise, hated the Scottish country side, and hated his books. Charles is a college graduate with intellectual interests. Diana dropped out of school at age 16, she read romance novels. They didn't have any common interests.
@@c.c.6930 Diana should have and could have refused the engagement.
Diana knew it was an arranged marriage and she knew Charles didn't love her. She decided to marry him. She had unrealistic expectations and was disappointed, became angry, combative and competitive for public attention. They were not compatible. Both were from dysfunctional families and unhappy childhoods. Both didn't meet each other's needs. Both were miserable by 1986.
Diana was a young, unstable girl when she married her prince. Over the time she seemed to grow more mature but it was already too late. Mummy Camilla stepped in and sticked to Chuck like power glue.
Forever in our hearts ♥️ I hate Charlie for not standing up to his mother
I am surprised Diana wanted to be princess of wales so bad, surely growing up privileged in the Spencer home she heard how the royal life could be. But that she went ahead with it tells it all. Honestly people practically worship the royals. Worship Jesus who saves the soul.
She only lived in the Spencer home after her father became Earl - less than 2 years. She grew up in a rented house on the Sandringham Estate. She grew up playing with Prince Edward and Prince Andrew. She and her family were desperate for a royal title.
Magnificent magical magenta !
She was a poem he couldn't read.
Camila è stata come un diavolo, che si ha infilato la coda nella loro vita !!! Se non ci fosse ella, le cose andava diversamente!
Time has changed for models and catwalk also
Her youtube channel would be hilarious with millons of suscribers. Too bad that is not happening in this timeline😔
She gave the windsors relevance through Williams line Katherine and the cambridges
She literally made the royals cool again when she’s a part of ‘em
@@Prieze868 Without Princess Diana there would most likely not be a Royal today. She gave them 2 sons and the one who most looked like Diana will carry her legacy even today through Prince William & Catherine as he chose a woman who reminded him of his mother. And we live Catherine as much as we did Diana.
And now he proudly sits next to an old gargoyle.
He sits next to the love of his life or, as he describes her, "my Darling Wife"!
Absolutely hate him he’s so rude to Diana and humiliates her in lots of videos.Hope he doesn’t stay king for long.
I'm no fan of Charles, but at the beginning of this video Diana completely ignores him, seen her do this on numerous occasions. She turns her head away when he starts speaking. A bit rude I think, but I guess she was just tired of pretending.
@@julesmonteith1613 Diana was ignoring Charles. He was almost always the one trying to reach out to her in photos and film footage from the early years.
Not the other way around.
I am fed up with the man hating harpies who seem to make up the majority of the Diana Cult.
