Hi this sounds familiar, these printers can be configured to either use the IOS-compatible Bluetooth or the Android one, whatever Bluetooth version it is, try to print the settings for both printers and compare, I have a different make where I hold the feed and online button then power on to see the config, try this, you should see the difference, hopefully this helps.
Tenho uma com esse problema no bluetooth, funcionava normal, minha filha ficou apertado e saiu uma impressão com normal em japonês ou chinês, e não pegou mas o bluetooth, nem o nome Mtp-3 aparece mais
