Jake, the Philippines is the same. The humidity is also high there. That’s one thing I am not used to anymore. I sweat so profusely when I’m there. But the longer I’m there, my body will eventually get used to it. I think it will take me over a month to acclimate to that heat and humidity. And I’m not staying that long. The most a month. Would have to get back to my house here in Chicago.

The flight with the food etc wow u get a lot for your money on those flights but I do be flying forever so you gotta eat . So sad though your family not all in one place one country so y'all can visit whenever you want . It just teaches us never to take people we love for granted .

Wow, it is over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in Dubai - excessive heat. Drink lots of water. For an 8+ hour layover in China I would leave my bags stored at the airport and take a taxi to the city (unless the layover is overnight and not day time). Not sure if you they take credit cards for taxis. If cash only then you need to get their currency at the airport. If you do go out of the airport and leave your bags in storage then it should be easier to walk through TSA but you may have to go through customs and/or immigration. Whenever I travel I always get that's country's traditional/authentic meal. Of course, you can get it at the airport but to experience the city is exciting, if you have the time.
