So glad you found it beautiful, Daniel! Thank you for joining us at the table, and for watching our show. We look forward to seeing you again very soon.
Suggestions to put under it? So gorgeous!
That's a great question, Teresa, and you are so right that something should go underneath it to protect the table. You could put a plastic liner under the tablecloth or set the runner on some low boards covered with fabric. Thank you very much for watching our show, and we hope you will join us again soon when you have the time. Hope you have fun with flowers in the meantime!
I really love your work. It's amazing and fabulous. I'd like to know how long will the succulent last in this arrangement without soil?
+Xiangdong Xue You can expect the succulents to last a few weeks before they begin to dry out....
amazing, looks so georgeous! thank you. Can you just explain what material did you put in a succulent - is it a wooden pick or a wire?
Great question Nives. You could actually use either, or use both together. Thank you for watching.
Hi Leanne, It's so beautiful flower runner, I want to do that. But I have a question. Is it necessary put a base to drain water?
That's a great question, Lilia! Even though the runner is on boards, it is always a good idea to put something down to protect the table (perhaps a plastic sheet under the tablecloth). Thanks so much for watching this show about the feasting table floral runner, and we look forward to having you with us again very soon. Hope you are having a lovely week filled with flowers!
Thank you, I love your works very much. May I know what hydrangeas touch in the lid can last longer? And when you insert sticks to succulent plants, then you use some glue to fix them? I am not sure.
Those are great questions, Elyse! Thank you for asking us about hydrangeas and succulents. Yes to the glue for succulents, and for the hydrangea, Leanne dips them in alum, which is a pickling spice. Hydrangeas are thirsty flowers and alum helps them drink more water to be fully hydrated. We have alum available on our website if you are interested: www.floraldesigninstitute.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_17&products_id=1245 Thank you very much for watching our show, and we look forward to seeing you again soon when you have some free time!
Does your website have count or recipe sheets? I would love to know the amount of flowers needed to make an arrangement like this.
No. Good Idea! Will plan to do this in future films.
FlowerSchool

Hi Leanne! I love your work. If I were to create the same table runner two days before my wedding will this arrangement last? Also do you wet the deco trays before adding the flowers? and how do you water the arrangements once they are in the deco trays?
+Marsha Dabirian Yes, you soak the deco trays before you design. Fresh, well conditioned flowers should last several day in this design. You would add water with a narrow spout watering can taking care to not overflow the Deco Tray.
Is love this fabulous
So glad you enjoyed this long and lovely floral table runner, Val! Thank you for watching our show, and we hope you will join us again soon.
Igualmente, Salvador. Gracias por su presencia!
#amazing
Thank you very much for your kind comment, Christie! We are happy you joined us for your show. All the best to you!
Do florists usually use color palate swatches?
That's a great question, Jacob, and yes, they can! When using real flowers, the colors may vary somewhat according to what nature delivers. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch our show, and we hope we'll see you again soon. Wishing you a lovely week filled with all kinds of flowers!
How long should I soak blocks? And should I put alum in the water too?
Float the floral foam on deep pan of water. Allow the foam to sink naturally, do not push into the water. When the foam sinks completely and is fully saturated it is ready to use. No, do mot put alum in the water. Use a professional floral food like Floralife. Available on our web site. www.floraldesigninstitute.com
Thank you very much
Hi Leanna, Thank you so much for this. what is the name of this foam that you used?
It's called a Deco Tray. Here is a link to our website, we carry two sizes medium and large. www.floraldesigninstitute.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3_13
how long does the floral table runner last?
+Natalie Silva if the flowers are fresh and well hydrated the arrangement should last a full week. Add water to the arrangement daily.
Hi, can you tell me how many hydrangeas will be needing for a 6 foot long runner? thanks
The number can vary greatly based on the size of the hydrangea blossoms. It's all about math. You need to measure the size of the average blossom, then calculate the area to be covered and multiply.
i've watched this video like 10 times this is soooooooo perfect, can you make another one this time maybe like orange, white, red green like summer flower colors
That's an excellent suggestion, and we'll add it to our list, Jem Em! So happy to hear that you enjoyed the feasting table floral runner, and we hope you will join us again for more fun and fabulous floral design.
Will you share the spelling of the Alla that you dip it in? Thanks
+HeraldSunshine I googled it, it's called "Alum." Turns out it's a spice you can buy in the grocery store. Who knew?! This info is priceless.
That's a great question, HeraldSunshine! It is called Alum, and it is a pickling spice that is available at the supermarket. You can also purchase it from us via our website. Here is the link: www.floraldesigninstitute.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_17&products_id=1245 Hydrangeas are thirsty flowers and need a lot of water. Alum is a great way to encourage them to drink and hydrate. Thank you very much for watching our show, and we look forward to having you with us again soon for more floral fun with Leanne!
Yes, you are right, Shawn. Alum is a pickling spice and is a great way to help those thirsty hydrangeas to drink more water. Thank you so much for watching our show, and we hope to see you again very soon!
