the ‘twin towers’ in Southeast Asia are the Petronas Towers, not the ones that were in New York:) a lot of ppl don’t realize they’re also called that. some of Mingi’s favorite rappers are offset and joey bada$$. i know he also likes dpr live/dabin… i know hongjoong likes them too but also kendrick, tyler, JID, and i remember they saw doja and ice at some festival. and ik joong said he used to listen to eminem when he had ‘middle school anger’ (angsty teen 😭) i think that’s all i remember rn but the two of them have pretty wide taste.

I've been on the edge of a panic attack the past couple days, and watching others discover and enjoy the things I love seems to be helping a little. "Healing" is a huge buzzword in S.Korean media and the way it's thrown around also makes me cringe. A kpop group will go on a filmed, scheduled, itineraried "vacation" and talk about how healing it was. Listening to a song will be healing. Eating soup will be healing. Definitely a cultural difference. I get there's a huge difference in approach to mental health between east and west, but the east has me side-eyeing what comes across to me as a kind of "slap a bandaid on it" approach (they're probably side-eyeing us as well) - or, maybe there's just something lost in translation.
i’ve been loving seeing you two’s journey into ateez. 😭 these guide reactions have been so entertaining and heart warming to see your genuine interest in the members, their talents and stories. and yes! i also agree abt men in the west needing to take notes when it comes to being casually affectionate with their friends without it being this whole weird and huge thing. it’s something so attractive about a man who is secure with their sexuality and will show affection to their friends. it’s something so far out of reach here and it’s so unfortunate. i love seeing kpop male idols being close and not being afraid to show that. it just honestly shows a large cultural difference. - ateez’s demon line consists of san, hongjoong and seonghwa. the demon line is the members who transform 100% into a different person on stage. their facial expressions and way of dancing gives off this “possessed” look. which is why they have the name!
it was not wooyoung singing in the Bad video.. it was just a dance cover~ also "healing time" i think was just supposed to mean for us to listen to their singing and get some personal healing from the beautiful vocals hahaha. im excited to see yall get more into them cause this is very much just scratching the surface of ateez... i also want to start guessing who yall will bias but i think its getting obvious who it will be (san)

Thank you for sharing your reactions & discussions. I've watched your Killing Voice reaction (more than once 😅) and both parts of the Guide & really enjoyed them. Reminds me of my sis & I loving & watching Ateez. (Though we hardly ever watch them together, as we live with our own families) These boys are really easy to love. They are AMAZING, DEDICATED PERFORMERS & have really endearing personalities (you'll see these in their offstage content eg Wanteez, fun interviews etc). I say boys even though they are actually fine, young men, bc for me & my sis, they're exactly the same age as our baby cuzins whom we adored since birth 😂, about 20 yrs our junior. These Ateez cuties even got us attending our first kpop concert ever last year. Highly recommend attending the next time they come around. Looking forward to watching more Ateez content with you ❤
