You can't rent unless your income is a whooping 3 times higher a month than your rent, and rents for a 1 bedroom apartment is $3,000 and more a month and doesn't include utilities. No one makes that much income! I'm a retired senior and below poverty level. Even if I got a 7 day a week full time job, I can't meet that! So I'm stuck in a room of the house of a psychopath abuser. There's Zero gov. or agency help with housing. He had my car blocked in. I'm only here for a roof over my head. I'm now parking on the street which is perfectly safe but I think he's trying to give me flat tires. I got away today in my car and felt relaxed for the first time but forced to come back. I'm going to try to take courses from this room on a computer so hopefully I can get a good paying job and get out of this evil man's hell. God bless you.
