For the first time with alcohol ink you did great. You can use hand sanitizer to remove the ink from your hands. I also do my panels on a paper towel to catch the run off. It helps control the mess.
Your cards turned out beautiful. Your lift ink turned out a lot better then mine did on my first try. Thanks for the inspiration.

For someone who was unfamiliar with Yupo and alcohol inks you did fantastic! Loved how your Yupo lift cards turned out. I just got that ink and stamp set and have been “experimenting” with them. Takes some practice but wow are they fun. Thanks for your continuing inspiring videos. I never miss them.

when you foil over your yupo alcohol panel, send it through your big shot or whatever machine you use and the extra pressure the machine has (rather than your bone folder or fingers) will help the foil stick to the tacky areas better.

I can’t wait to get my kit and play, I saw another technique where you put the ink on a felt piece ( attached to ink blending tool) and blot or run it across the panels- that might give you the control you like. Beautiful cards as always 😊

Great video! I bought the kit because of all the things that are new to me so I loved that some of the techniques were new to you too and I'm not alone in trying them for the first time! I did alcohol ink work many moons ago, but it was controlled work, so this blowing with a straw, loosy goosy background technique looks cool, but I'm afraid it will be difficult for me -- but I feel better about it now. :) My kit arrived yesterday so I may play today, although I'm also trying to clean up the old craft room and pull together stuff for documenting December -- my stash is SO HUGE!

It was kind of neat for me to see you try a new technique and not be a super-star about it. I'm new to card making and it's been lots of fun for me, but sometimes I will get frustrated with something I'm trying to do and I'll sit back and say "I'm not good at this". I thought your ink back-rounds were very fall-y (not a real word, I know) and fun, and I would have considered them wins. I've been learning a lot from your videos, Tina. Thanks!

The cards came out great I have worked with Alcohol ink before and you can get some amazing designs with it. It is very vibrate on color. But I have not tried the ink lift off thing yet but it looks like fun. I did try using the ink on a stamped design with a brush not nearly as bright but I completely destroyed some of my brushes. They stained really bad but what the heck it is fun to play with it. TFS your new ink experience with us. I really enjoyed seeing what you did with this kit.

I’m watching you make the second alcohol ink panel right now & I had to pause to tell you this. The ink that goes onto your glass mat, if you put a little alcohol on it you can pick it up from the mat to the yupo paper, kind of like ink smooshing. You’ll get a lighter result than putting the inks directly on the paper, but of course you can add more ink on top of that. Just a fun way to get more out of the alcohol inks. Now, back to the video.... 😊

Thank you SO much for sharing your wonderful ideas. I'm awaiting delivery of this stamp kit and I really love your cards, so am going to start off much more inspired when it comes. Dying to try the alcohol inks as I loved your backgrounds. I always enjoy your tutorials. I must keep my eyes open for that metallic wire you used on the sympathy card, I think. What a delicious little bit of bling it gave - just enough - perfect. Haven't seen any here in Australia, but then I suppose I haven't been looking. Thanks again.
