As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejects growing domestic and international calls to accept a Gaza ceasefire deal, we go to Jerusalem to speak to Gershon Baskin of the human rights advocacy group International Communities Organization. Baskin has spent years as a back-channel Israeli negotiator with Hamas in ceasefire deals, including throughout Israel's current war on Gaza. "It's very clear that Netanyahu doesn't want to end the war," says Baskin, who calls for all remaining stakeholders, including Hamas, the United States and Israeli protesters, to increase pressure on the defiant prime minister.

How about isreali move out of gaza and west bank including both military and settlers and stick to the 2 state that was set in 1948. Allow palestinian to govern it's own state, have equally rights enjoyed by isreali, including trade and seat at the UN , world to recognise palestinian as a state, allow palestinian the right to return enjoyed by isreali....fair and equality may be the answer to permanent peace. When Harris speaks, it is like we are seeing a bad version of the Wizard of Oz movie. Harris is out in front giving statements all of which meet the approval of the Israel Lobby, while the Lobby is close by but off stage and out of sight. The democrats are so happy, not because Harris will be any different or better than Biden or Trump for that matter, but because her chances of winning are much better. If we listen to the media, we don't hear how much different or better she is. We only hear how much better her chance to win is than Biden's was. The left leaning media and democrats are fine with having a government that is totally corrupted by AIPAC and the Israel Lobby. They are happy as long as it is democrat puppets on stage dancing to AIPAC's tune and receiving AIPAC's money. So much so that they are even willing to overlook the complicity of the US Government, with a democratic administration, in genocide, the worst crime there is. This will not end well for the democrats, support for genocide never has. What is strange, is that it seems that the democrats will actually be surprised when this complicity in genocide ends badly for them.
