Growing up since the age of 5, I've always wanted to document my life and show the world what I can do. I'm a deaf person and I want to be able to make videos and take photos of my life to show people that whether I'm different because I'm deaf, doesn't mean I can't be adventurous and crazy. I'm a very adventurous person, I love to travel and do everything that makes me happy. So, to see this video it really inspired me to enjoy every moment of life and be grateful for the little things. Absolutely love every bit of this video. I cannot wait to see what my life ahead has in store for me! Here's to another year full of exploring and happiness.🌎🌺✈️✨

My sister introduced me to your work a couple months ago. I had always had an interest in photography and videos and editing but something about your work seemed to really pull me in! As I explored your channels and pages it really opened my eyes to how photography is bigger than it seems. It is a unique art form that holds room for anyone involved in it to grow. It creates opportunities and takes people on journeys. It truly is a craft that will never die. I recently borrowed a camera from a friend and took it to Hawaii with me to try it out. I definitely opened up a passion that had been hiding for a long time. Each of your videos and vlogs bring a smile to my face, as I'm sure it does to many people. Anyway, just keep up the good work, keep growing, keep inspiring, keep saying "and yes", and thank you for helping me find a passion for this art.
In grade 7 I started to do videos, it was about fun stuff I did with my friends, I did this because it was a way for me to look back to the best memories I had in middle school, but I didn't think much of it. When I got into grade 8 I had a class in computers and one of the projects that I had to do was a music video, when I started filming and editing I really enjoyed it and that was when I realized that filming was something I wanted to do, for me filming is a way to capture the best memories and to see life in a different way. One day I was looking through Instagram and that was when I found you and I'm so glad I did, because you have encouraged me with your amazing work, it have taught me that anyone can achieved their dreams if they work hard enough to do it and that we shouldn't just dream our life, but live it. Thank you for inspire me, thank you for spreading positivity, thank you for teaching me that any of us can do anything if we put our mind to it, thank you for taking the time to replying to my comments, thank you for doing tutorials that can help us in photography and filming, and thank you for doing this giveaway and helping out not just one person, but a number of people. The reason why I want the gear it's not just because I want to improve on taking pictures and recording videos, we all want the gear for that, but I also want it because, you have inspired me to do so much more, to inspire other people the same way you do with your pictures and videos and I think I can do it with your help. I will use the cameras every day and I'm gonna show you the work I can do with it. Even if I'm not one of the luckiest people who got the gear, I'm still gonna work hard to earn money for a camera, you're the reason why I'm gonna still filming and taking pictures and never give up in my dreams. I hope one day to become someone like you, someone who always encourage people to do what they love, and someone who's as kind and generous as you. I'm still gonna keep on commenting, liking and sharing all your pictures and videos, because you work so hard for everything you do it needs to be appreciated. You deserve so many more followers. Love how you stick too your style. A more slower less EDM'y type video like a lot of videographers are doing. It's definitely a good change in pace and the detail in the editing is exceptional. Great job man keep it up! Keep doing the vlogs as well, you're very funny and those are great as well!

My best friend Sam, has loved photography since Junior High. There has been more spontaneous texts to "come over and do a photo shoot because the sunset is gorgeous" than I can count. We have gone on so many adventures just to find the most photogenic places, and we never leave the house without her camera. I have always been one of her go to "models" and I have always enjoyed our random photo opts. As she got more serious into photography, she started taking senior graduation announcement pictures, or family photos, and she has always asked me to come assist her. Whether it be finding the right poses or just fixing someone's hair to make the picture right, I've really enjoyed helping her take pics. It wasn't until this last summer when she convinced me to take our first photography class together in college. I was so excited to think of myself as a possible photographer. The class was surprisingly difficult at first and to be completely honest I wasn't sure what I was doing, I had to borrow a school camera throughout the whole semester, but I ended up LOVING the class. In November, Sam and I got asked to take photos at a friends wedding. We were warned against it by our photography teacher, but we did our homework and we shot that wedding. It was all day long, crazy hectic, and so much fun. Got there at 8am, had a small 2 hour break between 4-6 and went back for the after party. We took so many photos and my photos didn't turn out awful at all. I really struggled, but I wanted to push myself to put the camera on manual the whole wedding. Our first wedding was a success, and Sam was even able to get a beautiful video out of it. I had to borrow a camera for this wedding too. It would be so great to have my own camera and explore more into photography. I know Sam and I make a great team, and I think we could open up a website/business or blog one day. It would be real fun to be able to take pictures of her more rather than her always taking pictures of me. She really opened my eyes to photography and I couldn't be more grateful. She shows a lot of emotion through her photography and I can tell how genuinely happy photography makes her. She is always so humble and underestimates herself but she has such a strong eye for photography. She always talks about how she wishes I had a camera. It would be such a blessing to be able to help her in photography on a different level. One other reason I would LOVE to have my own camera is because... during photography class this last semester, there was this really sweet guy who gave me great feedback and helped me out a lot. After the semester was over I added him on Instagram, and DM'd him and thanked him for helping me out! He told me he would like to do a photography outing with me the week after finals! And I had to turn him down, because I didn't have my own camera😩 (besides I would've been so intimidated to take pictures compared to his). But if I did get a camera, and some more practice, I might be able to reopen that opportunity. I love taking pictures and I hope one day I can take it so much farther and make lots of people happy. man i've rewatched this a handful of times now, and i still can't get over the build up. You do such a good job of intensifying the whole video. The slow music build, with slow motion video, adding in the whispers, the drum and music build in the song and then some fast video that just inspires the viewers.. im learning a lot from watching your bigger edits, and even more in detail from watching your tutorials! - Joe.

I've been filming and taking pictures of my life and surroundings since I was 10 years old. It's been my passion for as long as I can remember, and now that I'm 18 I know that that's what I want to pursue in life. Most people major in science or some social studies not a lot would think of majoring in cinematography maybe because they're scared of the competition and how hard it is to make it in the industry, but for me it's about what makes me happy and this is it. Capturing moments always trying to get the best shot and being able to see that in a short video or film is what makes me happy and inspires me. Sadly i don't have enough money to buy all the gear I need to achieve that, I saved a lot last year which helped me buy a canon rebel series t5i to be exact with a 50mm lens F1.8 , I know it's not the best but it's a start and since I'm going to Europe this year I wish I had enough gear (go pro, better lens or camera anything really) to capture the moments I'll be living. That's why it would be a dream come true to win anything from your giveaway, to be able to pursue my dream career and show people how beautiful it can be to capture and share moments. I met your videos the last winter, I followed you on instagram and i fell in love of your pics. I started to do better photos for my instagram and I started to met the photography world. Shortly after, I met Alyssa, Sam, Matt, and I just wanted to start your adventures: Travel with your camera, take photos, record videos, live the life! And when you arrived home after the adventure, edit it and share your history, your travel with other people.
In all this time, I've been thinking on create my own youtube channel, and share my stories like you do. I am sixteen and I am studing so I can't buy a camera with my own money (cause I have not work xD) My fathers bought me a camera, the Canon Eos 1300D, and I will start my project, but now, you bring me the oportunity to win a camera or something incredible for complement and perfect my videos and photos. There's many different reasons why i want to be able to win. Jordan, every since I was a little girl, I've always had a passion for photography! I would carry around a camera everywhere I went and take photos of everything I saw. I always saw myself pursuing this as my career but as I grew older, I had a lot of people tell me and eventually convince me that I could NEVER make a living doing what I love. They always told me, there was no future in taking photos, it's more of a hobby than anything. Me (at the time) being a young, naive, tennage girl, I believed everything everyone said and ventured out to do something else. Throughout the years, I continued with what I was doing while letting people tell me I was doing the right thing. As time went on, I found myself becoming more and more unhappy, undetermined, and less motivated with the path that I had chosen. I knew something was missing and a change had to happen but I didn't know where to start and what to do. I had no clue what was bothering me until I came across your work. I started following you on Instagram. TH-cam, twitter, Facebook, and snapchat more and more and I realized that every time you would post a new photo or new video, my heart would instantly light up and I would be so happy just visioning and creating things in my head that I could do just by watching you. It was at this time that I realized just what had been missing and what was my calling in life and that is to be my own version of YOU! You've inspire me so much to forget about what everyone else has said. It was then that I said I'm going to start making myself happy, start living for me for a change, and do what I love to do. I researched so much and have tried to learn more. I have tried to reach out to other photographer/filmographers on social media but everyone has ignored me. You are the first person to ever reach out to your fans and I am extremely grateful for that. You try your best to help everyone and it's such a great feeling when you respond to all of us on here. Stumbling across your channel has been one of the most greatest things I have ever done. I bought my first DSLR camera about 3 years ago and I haven't put it down ever since. Hi Jordan! My name is Alexis and you've been inspiring me for the past 4/5 years. I first noticed your work as a TimeFlies fan. As an aspiring film editor I greatly admired your music videos and my freshman year of college decided to branch out, for the first time, and ask for your advice on Linked In. Very surprisingly, you offered your number and advice and in a 45 minute phone call in March or April of 2014. You told me not to be afraid of trying new things and taking risks. That has stuck with me and continued to inspire me as I've grown as a person, video editor and cinematographer. Your videos and passion for the world has encouraged me to live life and have fun doing it. That summer (of 2014) I spent the summer playing lacrosse for an international team in Germany and Switzerland while making films for their program. Since graduating college I've had the amazing opportunity to work on feature films in NYC as a VFX Editor. Your tips and tricks on Light Room have helped me in my own photo editing and I had my first Photo Gallery in May of 2016. Your and Alyssa's stories and travels are truly remarkable and I have loved being able to watch your films. Funny story.. over the holidays I convinced my brother to sell me his t3i. He hadn't been using it and I've been talking about buying a camera for over two years. He gave me his camera bag, one sd card, and one battery with no charger. I was stoked.. still am. I just saw your post and it made me extremely happy. I love what you are doing here. My 2016 started with an amazing gift. My very own camera. I've always been fascinated with photography and arts in general, so it was like a new step towards a dream i've had for so long. In the past year I've come across such inspiring artists and photographers, including @TaylorCutFilms, and it makes me want to start my own projects. Therefore, one of my top goals for 2017 is to experience and adventure more with my camera. Especially, because I'm going on a big trip to Thailand this year, where I believe there will be so many great opportunities for me to use and experiment with my camera. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us and being such an inspirational human being for so many people, including me. Wish you an even better 2017!

I'm so glad Mark Dohner helped me discover your channel because I've just found one of my new passions. Going back several years, I would always try to take cinematic pictures with my iPod 'cause I didn't have an actual camera, and my mom would always tell me that I had an eye for photography and that I should probably study it when I go to college. I used to tell her that it was just a small hobby and that I wouldn't really make it into a career, but when I started watching your videos, I became so captivated in the cinematic shots as well as the editing. This is when I realized that I should further pursue this knack I have for photography because in the long run, I'd rather start something I love rather than not do it and regret it years later. I really wanna explore the world and really broaden my perspective on different cultures throughout the world. This is why it would be nice to have an actual professional camera rather than using my phone to pick up the slightest detail. Trust me, at this point if I had the money to buy a professional camera, I would, but money can really be a huge limitation. I'm actually trying to take cinematic photos on my iPhone and edit them for Instagram . If you want, you can take a quick look at them @michaelglozano. Every time I see your videos I get so happy. I never click on a notification so quick. But I honestly would be so overwhelmed with happiness if I was one of the winners of your gears. I love film making. Being able to satellite a story. Cinematography has attracted me ever since I was 11. That's how I got into wanting to travel and make films was by watching your videos and your buddy Matt Komo. I want to travel and go to college for film production because everyone should live out there dream! I am amazed by the stellar shots you get and would love to buy it for myself, but I would have to be so rich to get all the gear you have. I want to be able to spread my talent with others like you and that's why it would mean so much if you chose me. I currently use a canon rebel t3i with a standard 18-55 mm lenses and also am lucky enough to have a GoPro. With those two gadgets that I bought with my own money I have been able to let my creativity shine, but it seems I want it to shine brighter and your gear would help me with this. My birthday is on January 12th and man would that be an awesome birthday gift. Camera gear given to one of my favorite filmmakers out there. Your videos truly always trust and amaze me and that is something that you inspire me to do. I hope at least if I don't get it, someone who truly deserves it will. I'm just starting off photography/ filmography and from the moment I watched your videos, I instantly knew that I wanted to aim and achieve at what youre doing. I want to show people the essence of life and the true beauty behind it. I want to do this by portraying a story. Its every, small detail that truly counts of course. These details will create a unique story that will show people that theres hope. To inspire others to look differently in life. Looking ahead positively. I want to be able to provide and fulfill people with that type happiness!
With the gear it wont just benefit myself but benefit others as well. i strive to start filming and capturing photos more of my friends and family. I want to start showing them a different side of themselves that will make them realize something truly magnificent and beautiful. #YESSS

Film/photography is one of my biggest passion in life and to me I don't care if I can't make a living from it, because it will always be something I love doing. You're videos really make you feel something and I can't really put my tongue on what I feel, but it's something special! I aspire to one day be as great as you but in my own unique way. Your videos are such incredible works of art. Being able to live life to the highest potential every single minute, and to document it to inspire others is the absolute dream. I want the equipment so so badly, because having that equipment would allow me to follow my dreams of becoming a photographer. I want to show people how beautiful they really are through film, and I want to inspire so many people in the world, and prove that people at my age are capable of doing incredible things. Every time I see one of your videos or even photos I get inspired to go out there and create my own it's kind of scary to think about, that one person can inspire me to want to do something different with my life and different to what I'm doing now that it makes such an impact in it so thank you for being that person that has inspired me for about a year and a half to create something whether it's a photo or video whether I show it to people or not I'm still creating content so thank you

Jordan, I just want to start off by saying thank you for making the last few months of my 2016 amazing. Ever since I discovered you in October or so, you've completely changed who I am as a person. You've inspired me in all different aspects.
I've loved photography ever since I was 11 and when I was 12 I got my first camera which was a Nikon D3300. I don't really know what got me into this, but I'm so happy I did. Taking pictures and videos just puts me in a positive mindset and just makes me see another part of me that I've never seen before. I also really started loving traveling when I was 14 and traveling the world is something I want to achieve one day. I've already been to so many beautiful and amazing places that I'm so grateful I've even had a chance to see. I'm 15 now and I still have that camera. Im SO fortunate that I had the opportunity to get a camera at a pretty young age because it's gotten me a long way, but I really would want to try out other cameras and just get more experience. I'm actually saving up for a Nikon D7200 to get by May and I'm 1/4 of the way with the money, but every time I tell my parents what I'm saving up for they start giving me a speech about how it's not worth it and how it's a waste of money. It's definitely a lot of money and doesn't really fit the budget of my family, but Im the one saving up for it and I for sure wouldn't spend money on something I wouldn't want. It's just so frustrating that they don't understand it's something I love to do and I want this to be my future. I want to make them happy and I also get that they want the best for me, but I also don't want to be miserable with the job I have because then what's the point? If I chase my dreams hard enough and I work hard toward what I want, then it'll happen. Sorry I basically just ranted, but I never let this out and I don't know who to talk about it with. Anyways, I've also really gotten into film ever since I discovered you, Sam, Rory, and a bunch of other amazing people. I've started posting a few videos on my TH-cam channel just putting our vacations together and they're not the best but I think they're pretty cool and I loved editing them. Editing videos is also another thing I love doing. There's just something about it that gets me in a good mood and I always try to find something to edit. We're going away to London (my first time!) and Hungary for 3 weeks this June and I want to take as many pictures as possible and film as much as possible. We're also going somewhere in July (hopefully) and to Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights for two weeks in September. At the end of this year I really want to put together a "My 2017" video that has all of these adventures. I want to do all of this, not only to pursue my dreams of becoming a photographer, filmmaker, and possibly a director, but to also inspire people the way you inspire me. I know how much of a good feeling it is to be inspired and have the feeling of wanting to actually get up and do something and that's something I want other people to feel. Being able to inspire people is a big part in why I want to do this as well. I want to show people my perspective from my camera lens. I want others to see how beautiful this world is. I want them to get out and do what makes them happy. I also want to prove to my parents that I can actually do this and that I genuinely love doing this. But thank you so much for giving people this opportunity by giving away some gear, it truly is amazing. And thank you again for always making amazing videos because I can always forget about everything that's going on in that moment and just focus on your video. I love you 🤘🏽💕 #andyes
