THIS INTERVIEW WAS GREAT. Absolutely fantastic. What a mesmerising piece of art. How special and beautiful and fitting for Camila, it felt like a tiny reflection of her soul. And what I could resonate with the most was when she compared her own music to the music of Fifth Harmony. It is so true that her music has a deeper meaning, her music takes me with it, it's so easy to connect with. She poured her everything into her songs and that shows. It's not as superficial as Fifth Harmony's songs, if that makes sense? It feels more personal and more passionate and more genuine. Don't get me wrong, I adore 5H and love their music but Camila's personality has flourished so much and she's proven that she is a talented songwriter. Yes, music should be fun and be a place where you can come to and be happy but Camila's songs are so much more. It's unique, full of warmth and potential and emotion and character and it feels like home. Her music comes from the heart

It's admirable how she openly discusses her connection with music she wrote rather than the music given to her. Artists often take the easy way out and sing the hit pop songs they didn't write but she's really trying to do it all on her own.
imo artists who write at least half of their stuff, or more, are taken more seriously. i prefer to listen to artists who write their own stuff, its so different compared to artists who just take songs. i mean x factor uk is really favoring people who audition with their own song this year for example. its all about your own stuff
When I listened to I have Questions it only reminded me of a situation with me and my ex-best friend. I had no idea what I went through was the exact same that happened to her and what the song was written about. Wow.

It was so calm, collected, and mature while still gathering nice information and making the artist feel comfortable as well as giving them something that surprises them in a good way. Some people get more hurt than others and feel like it's holding them back and they can't let it go. Other people move on quicker showing that they weren't hurt too badly. And the person who was hurt can never forget the feeling and pain and they feel more hurt when the other person is happy because they feel like the other person didn't and never cared.

She first wrote the song when she was on tour with 5H and at the time during her last few months with 5H her only friend on tour were Dinah and her guitarist (suddenly forget her name but you know who it is). Maybe she wrote IHQ around that time she cried on stage?? So her close friend who suddenly not anymore around that time was Lauren. They were inseparable but then they suddenly not. So much story in her eyes. It seems like she just felt lonely being in the group. It must have been so tough.I watch later interviews and the other girls seem to kind of push her away because she was already writing music on her own. She definitely stood out from the 5 and they both are doing great either way so in the end they should all be happy for each other.
