Cake mixes shrank to 15.25 oz. around 2013, and now Betty Crocker has downsized to 12.25 oz. Have you made any adjustments for the new, smaller size mixes?
I suspected that the cake mixes had shrunk!!! The recipes I follow use the bigger size, but so far I don't find a huge difference in the way they turn out even though you would think that there would be some difference.
I see that the inside of this cake has some pockets of blueberry in it, which looks almost exactly like a marble cake. But, it will be very different, if the entire cake itself was purple, due to the berries that are in this dessert.
I would love this but…I can’t have cream cheese, milk and dairy allergy, so…will it make a major difference if I were to leave it out? Or, do you know of a substitute, maybe…Thanks so much…❤❤❤
You could easily leave out the cream cheese in this. The cake batter won't be quite as thick. You could use a vanilla pudding mix instead and you will get very similar results.

Lemon cake mix would be great with this I've done lemon mix and blueberries many times so good!

I would definitely do lemon. One of my favourite combos is blueberries and lemon. Nothing like a wild blueberry!
I think the next one will be lemon for me as well, it pairs very well with blueberry
