Hello Michael, You are really walking on the path of salvation.. thanks for showing the way. We are all passengers....I would like to connect with you. Please share your coordinates. Thanks
Wow man amazing even i as a Nepali haven’t been to this place and u a European hav visited this holy site. Really u r amazing n what a beautiful photography. My respect to u
The cave is not visible from monastery... you have to walk 20 or 30 minutes more from monastery... then you,ll see a small cave on your right and a lot of prayer flags ... inside a gokden bowl (replica)
I wonder if we can be certain sure about that was the right place were Milarepa stood and practice meditation for two years. Do the science says anything about this ?
Hi Michael! I'm the guy who helped with the spanish subtitles a while back. I will be going to Nepal soon and would like to visit the cave, any recomendations? Is it easy to get to the nearby town by public trnsport?
Hi Nelson ! I am very happy for you and I wish you a wondefull trip. Milarepa cave is in Annapurna mountains so it is not easy to get there. First you need to take a bus from Kathmandu to Besisahar. There you can take a jeep all the way to Manang from where you can walk to the Milarepa cave. (It would be better to go to Braga that is the village just before Manang and it is even closer to caves.) Road to Manang is extremely dangerous - please look it up on internet before you make your decision to take it. Most of the people walk up to Manang but than it may take few days to get there. Once you are in Braga you can ask locals how to get to caves.
@@thesungate Hi, thanks a lot for your answer.I didnt know that the road was that dangerous... Will keep in mind your advice before deciding to go. Thanks!

The cave is not in Braga on the Annapurna trekking trail in Nepal it is in Nyalem on the high plateau in Tibet, we visited it in 1986 when Tibet had only just opened. Why do you not say the exact place, is it to preserve the cave from tourists?
There are at least three more or less commonly acknowledged Milarepa Caves in the Himalayas, many more claim to be. The one you mentioned is the most famous, but hard to get to nowadays. The other ones are in Nepal, one in Manang Valley (the one in the video) and the other one in the Tsum Valley.
