Who Didn’t Fancy Her Back In The Day 😅, What An Amazing Artist She Was And Still Is, Kate Where Ever You Are Please Come Back And Sing Those Brilliant And Beautiful Songs Again 😢❤
Kate Bush is poetry in motion. True definition of what art is and should be. I'm overwhelmed when i see her videos, performances and interviews and I thank the universe for creating this woman and allowing her to be herself and share her gift with all of us who adore her. You are appreciated and loved Lady Kate Bush...
Personally one of my favorite songs on Lionheart. Such a fun one! There’s a lot of underrated songs on Lionheart, like this one, “Wow”, “Don’t Push Your Foot On The Heartbrake”, Hammer Horror”, “In Search Of Peter Pan”, and “Kashka From Baghdad”. I think the only problem with Lionheart is that the album was a little rushed because the record company were pressuring and pushing Kate to release a follow up to her debut as fast as she could.
i think Coffee Underground is the hidden gem on that album, for sure. Symphony in Blue is definitely amazing too though. i just like the vaudeville feel in this song. a lot of people compare her to David Bowie but i hear a bit of Tom Waits in this (although she is still wildly original on her own)
Cutest, funniest Kate Bush song to date! I came here to listen to it as I recalled this song and kept playing it in my head for the past few days, lol 😂
I like how at this point this is what a grimdark Kate Bush song written when she was feeling worn down sounds like. I know it mutated till the final recording on Lionheart and the performances on the Tour of Life, but knowing what led to it still rather entertains me. Kate at her Katiest.
Huh? Kate is very much live right here! The only track she ever mimed on the Tour of Life was Hammer Horror when she danced to a pre-recorded (but newly recorded) track.
@@robingow01 all you have to do is look at her mouth to see she is clearly miming. Delays in syncing, the fact that she doesnt put any effort into singing big high notes but they still come out flawlessly.
Darkside Rebel Definitely a ‘beg to differ’ moment here... Looks completely live to me, and volume drop issues when her mic is at different distances from her mouth seal the deal for me. The whole clip is out of sync but she’s very definitely live to me! 😜
@@thedarksiderebel also you clearly aren't an singer if you think she didn't put any power into her singing. Well you might be a karaoke singer but....

Such a shame we never got the full concert on video. It's so amazing to see/hear her perform these early gems.
I have the Hammersmith '79 concert on my page....Kate in concert Playlist
@@deusvolt2146 Great, thanks !!

Love the Marlene Dietrich touch.

Amazing...and so overlooked
The picture-quality of this video DEFINITELY distorted her voice and the overall music. Still AMAZING.
Love Kate Thanks for sharing 🙏❤️
Thanks for sharing, amigo

Huh, never had Kate down for someone that would mime. Great performance though.
