Live for your videos to pop up. I'm in the Navy and just got orders today to Pensacola for 3 years. I cannot wait to be able to fish those beaches. I grew up fishing in Maryland and have done a good bit if surf fishing. You have taught me a lot and I cannot wait to finally put it to use. Thank you!
A good shore fishing bite is always awesome. I grew up in Chesapeake Va and spot and croaker were cooked up at my house. Used the whole fish. Blue Fish were the prized fish to catch. They used to roll through 10k strong back then at times.
The strangest thing happened while I was fishing Perdido pass with my cousin. It is a fully saltwater spot. Our bait was live croaker. We actually caught a 3 foot alligator gar. It wasn’t a hound fish or any misidentification. It was 100 percent an alligator gar. We got a picture and released him. Gar swam off perfectly unharmed.
I’ve seen gar 2 times while I was on the beach. Definitely not common, but it happens.
I used to go to St. George Island every year and there was always a ton of gar there

Valexiral they actually caught one at Orange beach last year or the year before but if you look it up Alabama has no official state record. But yes I’d agree with that statement.

Lady fishing been blowing up down near romar huge schools every morning and night. Have seen a few sharks and a few other species but only been able to get the lady fish in
Do you ever use any leader when targeting bluefish or mackerel with artificial lures?
What leader are you using for top water & how often do you re-tie?
I never done any good casting artificial sin the surf at NC beaches. The Gulf appears to be much less surf than a NC beach. Absolutely top water has never worked for me. Up here. Never seen that much bait in so close. Beautiful Jack! Great video!

Nice man! I know there are more, "prestigious" fish out there, but a big jack crevalle is the one fish that I really want to catch someday. Far and few between up here in NC. I guess I'm just gonna have to make a trip down that way eventually. Keep up the great vids really enjoy them!
I’m in NC and we went to Atlantic beach on the oceanana pier and for the first time ever I saw about a four foot red drum. It was so cool. (Unrelated to your Jack but still cool!)

Where was this? Right now we are at Navarre beach but there is a lot of algae which is making the bite really hard. also, do u have any advice on how to get more bites with all this algae?
The algae is tough to overcome. But sometimes if you move around you can find clear pockets

For sharks on top, take those trebles off and put a single 10/0 or whatever size looks right for the size shark you are seeing. A single J hook at the back only. You woulda hooked all three of 'em. Keep up the good work young man.

I love your videos and the obvious effort you put into them. I watch the
adverts You tube adds in front so you can get the few pennies that
adds. However are you getting anything from ROKU? they intersperse your
videos at random with anything from toothpaste to tampon adverts. Its
not inline with what your normal stuff is so just letting you know.
ROKU get the money not YOU i bet.That's very wrong. It also disrupts the
flow of video.Taking away from what you tried to create.Just an FYI.

Bro! That was awesome! I caught a 26" Trout out of a small creek that feeds into the lagoon there....was exactly 20 years ago now. This creek wasn't 20 ft wide, but that beast was there! Smashed a live mullet.

How do you know when to fish with lures, top water, spoons, semi sinking etc? I have been fish with lures from the surf and have not caught a fish for the past 3 months of fishing. I caught more fish using dropper rigs with baits like shrimp and squid. I prefer to use lures over baits because it’s less messy for me and it’s less weight to carry with me.
I was just down there Thursday - Monday and on the east side of Perdido pass was insane. Nothing like last year's spring break where they were really on the beach but still a ton of fun. Sunday and Monday there were lots of ladyfish and Spanish Mackerel and also had a nice school of Jack Crevalle came through.
I was out there in the water chest deep with my fly rod with some flies I tied. Was a ton of fun. Eventually the dolphins came in then a couple of 6 foot sharks showed up and got a little close so I had to get a little closer to shore😂
Didn't see any bluefish though...
Irs a whole nother thing when you hook up to some of those fish with the fly rod!

I miss our family vacations every year to Destin when I was growing up!!! The sand is SO white! You are very lucky to be fishing those waters.........I am jealous! The last year we went, there were tower cranes setup to build the resort. They took the house we used to stay at....but the Gulf Pines sign is still there!! Great video!!! Nice jack!!! Be safe!

Beautiful fish, one of those fish that was hooked, it looks very much like it has here in Brazil, and the fish mops very quarrelsome and very tasty too. As always, beautiful videos, here in Brazil we are still in the covid 19 quarantine, but it is improving. I am praying that they will soon discover this vaccine, so that the world will return to normal. You could make a draw for your followers of something, eg: bone, shirt ...... lol, that is a lol tip.
