We haven’t eaten meat in over decade so the options for full menu challenges are quite limited. They are also extremely expensive compared to the budget friendly videos our poor asses do 99% of the time on here 😆 We do have a really fun full menu challenge planned not too far from not but it’s probably not what most are expecting lol.

Low calorie, extremely high volume, fiber overload is quite literally every day outside of the big food challenges 😆 Might film something like it some day though. Processed foods extremely high in fiber are a rough one for sure though. When we ate as many quest bars as we possibly could back in 2020 it took us twice as long to recover from in relation to our extremely high calorie, sugar and fat binges lol. Gnarly.
Oh my God! That was the perfect challenge for me to watch today. I have been on a 1200 cal diet for nine days now and I was enjoying myself vicariously through you! That juniors cheesecake looked absolutely amazing and I need one immediately ha ha. For some reason I really love the last section of the video the most. Love the puns (probably some not intended), couldn't stop laughing. 😂 Picking a favorite American dessert is hard. Absolutely loved this! I loved my desserts especially donuts and Ben and Jerry’s! I’ve been eating a lot of both lately! Red velvet is my fav cake of all time! Yours especially looked good. Our favorite is the salted caramel core which is in one or two of our videos. Some of them are too muddled and not our cup of tea though like the cookies and cream cheesecake core. Not a fan.

I take it you guys look at the food and calculate inn your head if you can eat it whereas I just buy a bunch of food and see how much I can put down. If you’re the AMCAP guy of the food challenge community then you gotta own it like a rockstar 😎👊 haha, yeah our approach definitely isn’t to choose an amount we can certainly finish, but it is more often to ride that line of “we very well may fail but could possibly finish if we fight hard enough” which is why we’ve failed so many in the past but also finished some pretty ambitious ones as well. For instance, last January we were able to eat 16lbs of cake, but it wasn’t anywhere near 27k (lower caloric density despite the same weight as this one) but we were able to finish a chocolate bar challenge that was far lighter in weight (probably only 11lbs or so) but 27k calories. So with this one being the same as the heaviest of dessert challenges from last January (16lbs) but denser in calories and being the same as our highest calorie video of last January (27k) we were VERY uncertain we’d be able to finish. Especially because we just failed that Christmas one that was nearly the same calories 😆 So yeah, we do out the math roughly beforehand but have enough integrity to make sure it’s a true challenge that we’ll potentially fail so it can be a rewarding experience for us and an honest viewing experience for anyone tuning in 😎 Keep crushing, Matt! Your content is incredible and looking forward to more in 2022. I think you hit most of the popular desserts even if not in there true form however funnel cake should’ve been incorporated. For my favorite American dessert I’m between cake or ice cream being my favorite go to. Have you had buckeyes I don’t think I’ve seen them on your channel yet unless I’m just forgetting? There is one thing I’ve never had and it’s a whoopie pie but they look marvelous. Also a suggestion I know you guys focus more on a variety of food in large quantities but what if it were just one food but gigantic would love to see that!

Favorite American dessert? It's hard to pick only one as I also love brownies. But I absolutely LOVE soft baked, chocolate chip cookies (and it's brother chocolate chip cookie dough)! Loved this simple challenge, but saving the ice cream for last gave me immense anxiety. Stay epic you two! ❤️

Boston cream still remains our personal “fav filled donut” and is definitely the most iconic of American donuts for this particular challenge nonetheless 😁 Much love!
Much like competitive eaters, our stomachs are simply larger and have the ability to stretch a lot more than the average person. Much like how people can stretch their ears to have ear gauges, by consistently eating more than your stomach can currently stretch to hold, you can make it bigger and bigger. However, in the same way someone with really small earlobes can only stretch their ears to have smaller gauges than someone with large ear lobes that can stretch theirs to have, there is a limit to how big someone’s stomach capacity can get. For instance, most people can’t eat as much as we do, but we can’t eat nearly as much as the 20+ lbs of food the top competitive eaters can eat. You also have to have a bit of a tolerance for consuming large amounts of certain types of food that is built up in the same way someone becomes very tolerant of high doses of caffeine. Staying healthy while doing it all is a bit of different story and requires being intentional with eating really healthy the other 6 days a week and staying active 🙏
I look at that table and I feel excited and scared at the same time. Everything looks so delicious but the thought of eating that all in one sitting is impossible. Yesterday i had two bowls of cereal, two bowls of chicken cabbage saute with rice and a pband j sandwich and i regretted it.
A number of places for this one 😅. The triple layer red velvet cake is from a restaurant supply store (restaurant depot), the cheesecake is local business in the northeast that distributes to stop and shops which is where we got it, the brownies from Walmart bakery, the pre packaged goods like the cream pie and and Ben and Jerry’s can be found at any grocery store etc. 😎

We haven’t eaten meat in over decade so the options for full menu challenges are quite limited. They are also extremely expensive compared to the budget friendly videos our poor asses do 99% of the time on here 😆
We do have a really fun full menu challenge planned not too far from not but it’s probably not what most are expecting lol.

Low calorie, extremely high volume, fiber overload is quite literally every day outside of the big food challenges 😆
Might film something like it some day though. Processed foods extremely high in fiber are a rough one for sure though. When we ate as many quest bars as we possibly could back in 2020 it took us twice as long to recover from in relation to our extremely high calorie, sugar and fat binges lol. Gnarly.
Oh my God! That was the perfect challenge for me to watch today. I have been on a 1200 cal diet for nine days now and I was enjoying myself vicariously through you! That juniors cheesecake looked absolutely amazing and I need one immediately ha ha. I actually did laugh out loud when Nate said “I hope 2022 looks better than I do right now”and Pete said “most things do”😂😂

Haha, yeah we’ve had a lot of Ben and Jerry’s core varieties. We’ve had a few on the channel. Our favorite is the salted caramel core which is in one or two of our videos. Some of them are too muddled and not our cup of tea though like the cookies and cream cheesecake core. Not a fan.

I take it you guys look at the food and calculate inn your head if you can eat it whereas I just buy a bunch of food and see how much I can put down. haha, yeah our approach definitely isn’t to choose an amount we can certainly finish, but it is more often to ride that line of “we very well may fail but could possibly finish if we fight hard enough” which is why we’ve failed so many in the past but also finished some pretty ambitious ones as well.
For instance, last January we were able to eat 16lbs of cake, but it wasn’t anywhere near 27k (lower caloric density despite the same weight as this one) but we were able to finish a chocolate bar challenge that was far lighter in weight (probably only 11lbs or so) but 27k calories. So with this one being the same as the heaviest of dessert challenges from last January (16lbs) but denser in calories and being the same as our highest calorie video of last January (27k) we were VERY uncertain we’d be able to finish. Especially because we just failed that Christmas one that was nearly the same calories 😆
So yeah, we do out the math roughly beforehand but have enough integrity to make sure it’s a true challenge that we’ll potentially fail so it can be a rewarding experience for us and an honest viewing experience for anyone tuning in 😎

You basically did a ginormous version of that 😂 but drinking ice cream instead of coffee 😅. By the way the toblerone is a nice piece of decoration 😂. Much love guys !

Most grocery store red velvet cakes are AWFUL, but local bakeries, restaurants and the one we get from the restaurant supply store are almost always good 🤤 where the grocery stores usually fall short is a good quality cream cheese frosting…

Pete used to work at a gourmet donut shop so we’ve definitely had a specialty eggnog donut which may or may not be different than what you’re used to. Boston cream still remains our personal “fav filled donut” and is definitely the most iconic of American donuts for this particular challenge nonetheless 😁

I don't know how I ended up here, but how is this physically possible to eat this much???? lmao
Much like competitive eaters, our stomachs are simply larger and have the ability to stretch a lot more than the average person.
Much like how people can stretch their ears to have ear gauges, by consistently eating more than your stomach can currently stretch to hold, you can make it bigger and bigger. However, in the same way someone with really small earlobes can only stretch their ears to have smaller gauges than someone with large ear lobes that can stretch theirs to have, there is a limit to how big someone’s stomach capacity can get. For instance, most people can’t eat as much as we do, but we can’t eat nearly as much as the 20+ lbs of food the top competitive eaters can eat.
You also have to have a bit of a tolerance for consuming large amounts of certain types of food that is built up in the same way someone becomes very tolerant of high doses of caffeine.
Staying healthy while doing it all is a bit of different story and requires being intentional with eating really healthy the other 6 days a week and staying active 🙏

A number of places for this one 😅. The triple layer red velvet cake is from a restaurant supply store (restaurant depot), the cheesecake is local business in the northeast that distributes to stop and shops which is where we got it, the brownies from Walmart bakery, the pre packaged goods like the cream pie and and Ben and Jerry’s can be found at any grocery store etc. 😎
Glad to see ice cream in your video again! One of your fun facts states that the average American eats 48.8 pints of ice cream a year. I never thought I'd be so happy to be above average at something! 😁
