Highly sensitive child is deeply attuned to their environment, emotions, and the people around them, often noticing subtle details that others might miss; they make up about 20% of all children.
They feel things intensely, whether it’s joy, sadness, or empathy for others, and can become easily overwhelmed by loud noises, bright lights, or chaotic surroundings. These children are reflective and thoughtful, often asking profound questions and engaging in creative or imaginative play.
While they may struggle with criticism, transitions, or overstimulation, they are also incredibly compassionate, observant, and conscientious, thriving in environments that are nurturing, predictable, and supportive of their unique needs.
