  • Imaging of CSF flow - “How I do it” is a non contrast enhanced approach. It can either be done static or with phase contrast approach for flow quantification. In this video I will break down this topic along with post processing for the quantification part.
    I hope this video can be value for you, and thanks for tuning in and supporting.

    Great video. I've done CSF Flow for years on Philips Achieva 1.5T, now starting to use a Siemens 1.5T. Your explanations are the best!! We always do dynamic study, both for clinical suspicion for NPH and clinical suspicion of Chiari.

    Hey Bac awesome content like always. We dont have the license activated for flow but even so I found it so interesting and valuable. I hope its not too much to ask but, I would be so grateful if you could cover a “3D Real IR” for Menieres disease. Its supposed to be a sequence done 4 hrs after IV contrast was injected and it should show contrast agent in the inner ear. We’ve been trying to do it in 1.5T but it seems hopeless even though there are some papers that show it is possible. Some friends even struggled on 3T. Anyway, hope you keep this in mind, stay safe, big hugs and thank you for all your content once again!

      Hi thanks.
      Ménière’s disease is extremely difficult. We had two or so in the past. Beginning from scratch with protocol and setup. We felt we started to get into that but then patient group was removed to another hospital. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to create a good protocol. Back then we did on 3T but still very difficult. Besides that I can only advice you good papers regarding this topic.

    Hello sir! What is the difference between in plane acquisition and through-plame acquisition? Thanks

    • @Nguyen_MRI
      @Nguyen_MRI  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you look at this sagittal image. In-plane is in the sagittal plane. Through plane is in the transversal.
      In other words through plane you do perpendicular to the vessels of interest. “Cut” through it.
