I actually came from Ghaziabad to Ahmedabad in 13 Hours. 90-100kmph constant no over speeding. Best is to carry eateries with you so that you don't have to stop regularly. I had my ma ke hath ke parathe with me.

So, for Somnath you should go via Ahmedabad & Rajkot. The best route is to take NE4 until Sawai Madhopur, from there go towards Bundi-Chhitorgarh-Udaipur-Ahmedabad. The other route could be to take NE4 till Sawai Madhopur, from there go to Kota & join back NE4 from Kota till Dahod. But from Dahod you have to take a state highway for 25Km then NH47 till Godhara. We took this route this time while coming back from Diu. It is good to take but make sure you only travel on this route in the day. Not advisable to take it in the night.

Both are awesome roads with no issues (Bhilwara one is even better since on Chittorgarh route you get roughly 30Km single road.

Can easily do. Just plan if u want to do a night stay in between then Udaipur should be a good stop. On long trips always carry a tyre inflator in ur car & make sure your car tyres are in good condition including the spare Tyre. Always do nessecary checks on the car like engine Oil, battery condition tyre pressure etc. If u get ur car serviced regularly as per owners manual then no issues.. Good luck 👍
NH48 has everything better than NE4. You can take NE4 until Jaipur and then from Jaipur can take NH48. Make sure you get the fuel before 11pm in case you travel in the night. It took us 2-2.5hrs and 100Km drive to find a open fuel station in the night from Bhilwara to Udaipur (between 1:00-3:00Am). Otherwise all good roads are excellent and u will specially love Udaipur to Ahmedabad route. Good luck 👍

Hello, Best Route is to take Delhi Mumbai Expressway exit after Lalsot. Then take Tonk-Bhilwara-Nathdwara-Udaipur-Himmatnagar-Ahmedabad National Highway. Roads are excellent overall with 0 issues. I would suggest not to drive at night specially around Bhilwara bcoz of the cattles. If you can drive till Ahmedabad in single day then start at 4-5am and you would reach Ahmedabad by evening (it took me 14-14.5hrs) or you can take a night halt at Udaipur which has several good hotels near the highway. Udaipur to Ahmedabad will take u 5 hrs the next day then. Good luck ✌️
The roads are excellent overall without a single issue. It depends on everyone's style of travel. I like to drive longer distances & enjoy them as well (same is with my family). However, I do not suggest anyone to do it unless they are comfortable driving so long in a day. You need to enjoy the drive also so it's upto you on how much distance you can enjoy driving in a day. bhaisahab risk ki itni baatei kari, drive bina high beam k bhi kar lia karo. ye hum indians mei hai problem, hume sudharna chahie. bilkul blind ho jata hai aage se aane wala driver. aap to public influencer ho, aapko dekh k log seekhenge.
Bhai jab saamne se kuch nhi aa raha hai toh high beam pe drive karne mein koi hazr nhi hai (highways pe) kyunki Indian roads pe cattles, dogs ki problem hai woh nhi dikhte low beam pe. I always make sure saamne se koi vehicle aate hi low beam light ho taaki usse problem naa ho. But saamne wala high beam pe aayega toh usse bhi high beam milegi otherwise humein kuch nhi dikhega. 👍

Yes Delhi Mumbai Expressway is open till Lalsot exit as of now. Roughly 220-230KM Expressway is open which I used and then exited towards Kota
