Don’t get fooled. Have a good research about being a professor in India there is no jobs. State governments recruit hundreds professor in five year in different different state in India and there is very less opportunity and it’s a bottomless PIT and like running behind a cloud I have cleared my UGC NET examination more than two and half year and since there is no vacancy and corruption is a huge problem in this profession. it’s better to switch to banking SSC railway or other department instead of academics. It’s a blind chase. If I have to do it again I would probably never do it again. For more go and see @theprintindia report on professors in India they are working for ₹15,000. And don’t relate my comment you admin please bring the dark side to people as well side-by-side.
