- RIOTS have erupted across France after a shock exit poll predicted a loss for Marine Le Pen's far-right party.
Demonstrators have been pictured setting bins alight in Nantes and Paris as police continue to clash with protesters.
Violence has broken across the county after protesters were pictured throwing smoke flares in the streets.
There were fears of violence if the far right stormed to victory.
However, protesters from the left and the right have taken to the streets amid the growing tension.
Many demonstrators in Paris have been pictured setting bins and vehicles on fire.
