Great video my dude. I also think it’s not a bad idea to maybe find try to get on a print shop that does maybe screen printing and large format printing and go get cool with the designers. You’d be surprised how much you can learn while getting paid. And you get some new skills. Get the reps in. People want to make masterpieces. Just make stuff and that will happen eventually

This was a great video to watch as someone who is currently in school and interning with my college’s athletics department! More so a legal question if you have any experience/advice … I am definitely interested in posting more on social media but can I make graphics for a professional athlete using photos from google or posted by the teams account that I do not own? I have always been scared to do that because I was unsure if that is allowed and have heard mixed answers. Want to practice and post to social media, just don’t want to get in trouble. Obviously not selling the designs or anything like that, just posting what I am working on! Thank you!!

This is a great question and one that I had myself for a while... and sorta still do lol. There is a lot of gray area in that but I would say if you are a small creator just using images for practice purposes most times you won't get in trouble. People might tell you to stop and then you can just stop but most designers do this and never get told to stop. The biggest thing is making money from it, if you're making money from it then that's a whole different story.

Where can I find an internship if you not in school?

Some places will let you intern even if you don't go to school there but those are harder to find. It also depends on how much experience you have going in.

thank you for your tips, I wanted to ask you a question about how you will get paid when working with a sports page, I want to work with a football club page and make for them matchday visuals, stats graphics... will i tell them to get paid for every visual or how (dumb question but it's alright)

This is a great question! You can tell them to pay you per hour or per graphic! Depends on their budget and your desires! Let me know if this helps 👍

That's tough. It is pretty hard to grow without being super consistent on social media. You gotta post a lot and engage with others a lot. I honestly don't make time for it lol.
