Hi Paul, I like your videos. I wonder if you are in the UK because I've been thinking about a layout in a shed / log cabin, but I've been thinking the track might rust. Can you offer any advice?
Hey Will, yes I am in the UK. The track is Scalextric sport and has been in the shed for just over a year and there are no signs of rust. I do use the track at least once a week (more in summer) and I will apply Inox MX3 to the car braids probably monthly if not more. Most of the track is second hand off eBay and apart from the R3/R4 corners it’s all pretty cheap.
