A little bit of history for you. Following the Jalianwala Bagh Massacre, the Congress gave a call for independence from British. Jinnah opposed independence and quit the Congress. He later moved to Britain and was persuaded by the British to return to India and oppose the independence movement. So please do not call this British stooge as a freedom fighter

Honestly this video has only touched the tip of the iceberg of the many events and incidents that happened as part of the freedon struggle of Bharat (undivided Bharat) against the british rule. This video starts with the first war of Indian Independence (also called as Sepoy Mutiny) of 1857. Fight against brithisy tyranny had started much before this date of 1857, in fact at least 100 years earlier than 1857. It was easy for the Britishers to exploit the insecure mentality and differences among us on the basis of religion, caste, gender etc. While Hazikaji was quite emotional about it and Tariqji was also remorseful of the developments then, we all have to understand that there is no point in trying to understand this struggle with a divided mindset of being Pakistanis and Hindustanis. When all this happened, please remember that we were one country. It was the petty selfishness of Jinnah that resulted in this division. In one stroke of extreme selfish desire, Jinnah adulterated the sacrifice of millions of our countrymen, women and children. The legacy continues from that day........even today the political powers of Pakistan are playing with the lives of their own people. It is great to see you both educating yourself of the truth of our history. Atleast you know your history better since it was paid for in blood, sweat, and tears of thousands of Freedom fighters and common people of India. In 1930- Congress party demanded Purran Swaraj in Lahore meaning Complete Freedom from British Rule. But now that partition has happened, there is no Memorial in Lahore (for Purran Swaraj) in Pakistan for that but you have Minare-Pakistan (which celebrates as Homeland for Indian Muslims). Anyway we have a shared history in Indian subcontinent. But to be honest, some in India see it as Pakistan got the following things at partition -- 1- Pakistanis got freedom without much effort, or almost free. 2- Got the partitioned land which was once a part of India, and 3- Also got money from Indian government which Jinnah negotiated with Nehru (from Indian Treasury). 4- And used that Treasury money to attack Kashmir and kept the area boiling with instability.

Gandhi, Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose were all great, everyone's path was different but the aim was the same, Gandhi. Nehru's path was of non-violence whereas Netaji and Bhagat Singh's path was of violence.

A little bit of history for you. Following the Jalianwala Bagh Massacre, the Congress gave a call for independence from British. Jinnah opposed independence and quit the Congress. He later moved to Britain and was persuaded by the British to return to India and oppose the independence movement. So please do not call this British stooge as a freedom fighter

Have heard lot of stories, what they went through. We feel Proud, but the worst Part is that we did the Blunder of dividing ourselves in name of religion, which never had any Place when we were all fighting Together.
This way we insulted our Freedom Fighters, who never thought Twice to lay down thier lives for us who are present And Alive today. What an Irony !

Honestly this video has only touched the tip of the iceberg of the many events and incidents that happened as part of the freedon struggle of Bharat (undivided Bharat) against the british rule. This video starts with the first war of Indian Independence (also called as Sepoy Mutiny) of 1857. Fight against brithisy tyranny had started much before this date of 1857, in fact at least 100 years earlier than 1857. It was easy for the Britishers to exploit the insecure mentality and differences among us on the basis of religion, caste, gender etc. While Hazikaji was quite emotional about it and Tariqji was also remorseful of the developments then, we all have to understand that there is no point in trying to understand this struggle with a divided mindset of being Pakistanis and Hindustanis. When all this happened, please remember that we were one country. It was the petty selfishness of Jinnah that resulted in this division. In one stroke of extreme selfish desire, Jinnah adulterated the sacrifice of millions of our countrymen, women and children. The legacy continues from that day........even today the political powers of Pakistan are playing with the lives of their own people. It is great to see you both educating yourself of the truth of our history. It is important that you also spread the word amongst the newer generation in Pakistan that we were one nation and our history is not really what is being taught in the schools in Pakistan. It is totally something different. They have a right to know what is thr truth.

Atleast you know your history better since it was paid for in blood, sweat, and tears of thousands of Freedom fighters and common people of India. In 1930- Congress party demanded Purran Swaraj in Lahore meaning Complete Freedom from British Rule. But now that partition has happened, there is no Memorial in Lahore (for Purran Swaraj) in Pakistan for that but you have Minare-Pakistan (which celebrates as Homeland for Indian Muslims). Anyway we have a shared history in Indian subcontinent.
But to be honest, some in India see it as Pakistan got the following things at partition --
1- Pakistanis got freedom without much effort, or almost free.
2- Got the partitioned land which was once a part of India, and
3- Also got money from Indian government which Jinnah negotiated with Nehru (from Indian Treasury).
4- And used that Treasury money to attack Kashmir and kept the area boiling with instability.

Gandhi, Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose were all great, everyone's path was different but the aim was the same, Gandhi. Nehru's path was of non-violence whereas Netaji and Bhagat Singh's path was of violence.
