This young man is wise beyond his years. His maturity and poise is amazing, most likely forged during his many days battling his cancer. After watching him earn his chance to play this past season, the immense pride he must feel along with his family for reaching his goal and living his dream. Casey’s quote when interviewed about what he spoke into Coach Fleck’s ear when they hugged after holding his first extra point was “It was all worth it”. Strong statement coming directly from the heart. Coach Fleck’s team culture blends very nicely with Casey’s attitude and strength of conviction. I’m looking forward to this upcoming season if we get to have one. Casey O’Brien has a lifelong fan and I’m 100% convinced he will be successful in whichever path he chooses. His authenticity oozes from every pore. Row the Boat Casey and keep on beating those odds!

This kid has been through so much kid at an early age i can't even imagine going through and i can't relate to but this is an inspiring story to show even when all the odds are against you can still make it out you still have the strength to come out and beat whatever your going through i don't wish cancer on anyone and i hope god protects everyone from it thats reading this or not but tommmorow isn't promised thier are people dying right now people and young kids fighting for thier life right now be grateful for what you have be grateful for your family be happy through the good and bad stay positive stay strong and just remember tommmorows not promised so if you have a loved one tell them you love them before its too late and just enjoy life to the fullest be we never know when it can come to an end and also stay safe everybody god bless everyone 💯💯💯💯🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
