Many say that the song ABC Nee Vasi from Oru Kaidhyin Diary was inspired by the beautiful master piece of Georges Bizet - L'Arlesienne Suite No.1 Carillon. Again only the beginning part of the melody could be inspired but rest of the song does not fit into that style. I have tried a lot to fit the song in the style of Bizet but couldn't. which indicates that it is just a small inspiration and Raja sir come up with his own creatitivty to fully compose the song. Without Raja Sir we wouldn't have known such song existed. So thanks to him for introducing master pieces like this to us.

Inspiration is not copying or imitation.
Our Maestro had developed the idea and expanded it with his own creativity.
He must have told us the source of the song so that no one would blame him for music plagiarism. The work of Maestro Bizet is so fantastic that we have a floating feel.This is the feeling I get listening to any good music😊

Film Music is after all a commercial unrestricted short living song sequences done accordingly to a situation of a film story's demanding ...
G. Ramanathan, MSV, Shankar Ganesh, ilaiyaraja, ARR and many indian music directors from the outset of cinema productions have got inspired from previous genius works when ever film. characters get influenced by western cultures.
