Brother, I just want to say thanks for all the information on division only been playing since February. And ur videos have helped me a ton. I really appreciate ya, brother. 👊
I just wanted to take the time and say thank you for your content and how you explained the use of some builds and weapons with such detail. It helps so much to really understand this game mechanism.
I normally do not leave comments. However, I have to let you know; You are a genius Dod! You have helped me tremendously over the last year in thinking straight when it comes to making builds. Keep up the hard work, it is appreciated.
You loose a talent and the brand bonus. And another exotic. So you need to make up for it, by a) using mostly _different_ brands in the other slots (each different brand delivering an additinal bonus via ninja) and b) The bonus need to have a synergy towards a goal. Like stacking hazard protection for example. Or being able to get value out of an extra yellow and a blue core, like with capacitor in conflict/dark zone. Or sniper builds. It is tricky and usually only for special tasks.
@@Thund3rstone Ninjabike is op in pvp, you have no idea what you are talking about. In pvp, the more blue you have, the better things are, ninjabike gives you a blue and a yellow, which feeds into things like jammers, and deflector which increases survivability a lot more.
@@Thund3rstone You don’t *lose* a talent. Every backpack has a talent that does something different, the Ninja Bike’s talent gives extreme value if you know what you’re doing. Yeah, you lose a brand bonus. The same as with any other exotic armor piece in the game. That’s why your utility/purpose of said exotics in your build are supposed to more than make up for that brand bonus, which NB is more than capable of doing. “It is tricky and usually only for special tasks” It is tricky yeah, but then again making a build that can perform at the highest level PVE or PvP is always tricky. Especially if you don’t lace much build knowledge in the game. That’s expected. I don’t understand what you mean by special tasks, but if you mean niche builds that are only useful in very specific scenarios then you are wrong.
I do a incoming/repair skills with regen hybrid DPS with NinjaBike with high armor is OP in conflict. I love memento and catharsis but NinjaBike is king when it comes killing 3 birds with one stone. Picaro and empress guard armor are a must for this to be possible. I use obliterate talent and it works well with face trading and recovering.
I dont ever not use ninjabike now unless I'm being a striker cheeseball. You lose damage and annoyingly crit but you gain some nice utility. It's a bit of a beast in PvP and in PvE I just find it more fun to build around than anything else, and although it is suboptimal in PvE it can still shred. My wish now is for a 3 piece brand set bonus that grants like 25% CHC 😅
I love Ninja Bike, and have zero use for Memento. Although yes you do more DMG with Memento AT FULL STACKS, with Ninja I know what I got when I leave the safe house. I hate being on a timer and worrying about trophies when I gotta go take a leak or take a smoke break. Plus, I’ve left trophies on the ground so I could pick them up when I get back from smoking, only to have the 5 minute timer run out because the trophies didn’t register. That’s the moment I scrapped 3 mementos and left one in the stash. I don’t trust the damn thing to work properly when collecting trophies. Anyway good video. Just remember the game isn’t played on a spreadsheet.
I don’t care for ninjabike. It’s kind of gimmick-y and people feel nostalgia for the division 1’s version so they tend to overrate it by a lot. Anyway, I would be curious to watch a video from you where you suggest an idea for an exotic item for every type in terms of PvE (AR, SMG, LMG, chest, kneepads…). Might be a cool video idea, and if by some miracle the devs will watch it and be willing to listen, they might actually implement some of those ideas in the game. Doubt it, but who knows
@@Sikeyourdeadabsolutely no doubt about it. Honestly, they should let us use exotics as appearance mods as well as let us put any transmog on exotic gear
That was way longer than I expected! I figured it would start then he would say don't use it and close the video out. I do enjoy using it for the 3 piece overlord and using a merciless. It's nice to be able to use it again. But I could probably use it in a way that's all red and did more damage with vigilance. But it's definitely not needed nearly as often as it gets used.
i know you don't like PVP but can you do a brake down of were we need to be, like the sweet spot on armour and weapon damage because a all red build you don't last long . i like the no bull brake down of outer builds you do keep up the good work
I love what he says "I get what ppl are trying to do but it gets mitigated by talents" Thats not being salty. Thats just truth. Its like the devs made this item just to fuck with builders on purpose. Shout out to Chameleon...my fav color changing weapon.
It adds non-conditional damage or utility to MMR builds, so for that reason I like to run it rather than something like Vigilance which goes away occasionally
I understand how NinjaBike can be appealing to some, but EVERYTIME I see a build with it my first thoughts are Shaffer's lines... "Stop sending me fucking Clowns" and very often followed up by (once trying to figure out what monstrosity they seem to be going for) "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go shoot myself in the fucking head"
Have you tried using the backpack for boosting clip size? 2 Brazos. 2 true patriot, sokalov chest with obliterate. 90 rounds in the oro is pretty impressive. Even running 3 hunters and 2 Brazos raises the clip size of the oro to 75. Obviously nothing will beat strikers but it's been fun going back to the lab trying new things out with this backpack.
@@ObsidianCDL how is it useless when I have no problem running these builds on heroic and up? I already acknowledged the fact strikers is the best setup. With the limited amount of new stuff they give us why not try new setups to see if something works?
Surprised you didn't mention FI. A gear set that has an arguably disposable backpack (Headhunter's Fury?) +Picaro's and one piece of your choice can work very well. I stay away from NBBP and DPS for all the reasons you list, not efficient. But adding utility to skill-based builds and 6 cores in two pieces? Sign me up. Regen builds? What if I want 5.5% regen with 0 stacking? Capacitor? Red and yellow cores? Heck yeah. Strikers? Why gimp yourself that hard if it's a DPS build?
More or less agree there are times when more damage isn't actually the answer nor the point of a build or context. Enter NBB and other "mathematically non optimal" builds, talents, or items. Things that are hard to evaluate beyond the gameplay of trying it out (similar to handling differences between weapons which *TO ME* is a bigger deal than a 4% relative difference on a spreadsheet which assumes 100% accuracy).
With the matador is perfect you get adrenaline rush faster and I believe it increases from 3 to 5 enemies in which the perfect version is 3 and less armor but is not that much of a loss
@@RB92. Ninjabike 2pc striker/3pc umbra with Oreo or pesty. Insane rpms with Oreo but struggles with dps .. With the pesty same thing with rpms. It changes your gameplay completely .. It’s more prevalent in dz/conflict builds but other than that I don’t see the point coming from someone that plays all the contents, it’s very frowned upon for raids/incursion from my clan
The ninja bag is useless imo, it's a trap for beginners and experienced players. For DPS builds you trade in vigilance or +35% striker damage for a few brand bonuses, you'll never make up for that lost damage... It's a trap item. If it would double the brand bonuses it could be considered I guess
I swear by providence and I have no idea why people don’t appreciate it more. Lol. I mean ninjabike is like that gal that gives a good blow every now and then but the rest of the time you’re better off knocking it out yourself. 🤷♂️
