This why I love you broken. Your builds just simply makes sense. I’ve been building my runes like everyone else told me to (scorch, electrocute, etc) and every single time I have to land full combos. And you are just so smart because exactly what you said is exactly what happens. I land it 3 times a game and die right after 😂

Nice video Broken. Didn't know you were also a Zyra main hehe. One thing I've learned though is AP does increase plant damage but only like a small amount (5% ap ratio then it further gets reduced due to the plants only dealing 50% damage) so yeah, Liandry's is def her best bet for damage. Hopefully they make a QoL change and allow her plants to use rune and item effects. Plants on PC allow you to proc the damage supp item and scorch so Idk why they didn't do it here.

I am LOVING Zyra!! This build helped get me to diamond for the first time, even when I had teammates try to troll and sandbag because of how I was building and what runes I took. Great video as always ♥
Yet another absolutely balanced new champion from Rito, why am I not surprised 😅 picked her once in ARAM, was mvp - she is too easy when you can position behind 4 other people in a narrow space. Thank you for the guide, and Merry Christmas! 🎄
Ofc she is easy she was released over 10 years ago and she is really easy to lose with not pick akali or assassin also every champion is unbalanced in aram
Champ that has short range and mobility and Darius. They can just kite him to death before reaching the range. Champs that are heavily team reliant like Galio/ Shen (basically no ult if no one lives long enough by the time he gets there or has some sort of cc so his ult hits) Weak team fight like Hecarim, Fiora. High skill cap like Yasuo, Ire, Lee. I played a lot of Aram (Aram legend 7 max 2 seasons) and honestly the number of Yasuo that actually did damage more than the average of the team is less than 5. So that balanced out. Unlike Lux who can just through some roots and spam Warwick is balanced in terms of damage and sustain, even weak before his buff a few months ago. Honestly almost NO ONE plays him.
Tenmo getting hit by Liandry and Rylai Plants : "It burns us!! iT BURNS US!!! *insert Microsoft error sound effect*" 'An Enemy has been slain.' (Gollum ref BTW.)
I don't know if this is diff from PC, but E level ups only increase base damage and don't reduce cool downs. So since the main utility of E is root and applying Liandry/Rylai's, I like maxing Q first. It both increases base damage and reduces cooldown so if you can get it upgraded before first objective, since it can spawn multiple plants if multiple people are hit unlike E, I find it to be super powerful in team fights when everyone is bunched together. I even like upgrading W before E since it also reduces CDR and increases slow. Anyway, just a thought since base damage isn't as important with E as applying effects is. Thanks again for the gameplays brother!
You're right, but E also increases root duration here (similar to PC's but not properly said in the tooltip.) Although her main thing is plants, one of Zyra's best skills is how much CC and slow she could apply then reapply all throughout the fight. E being maxed first allows you to catch and pick off enemies easier due to the increased duration, but I do get why Q is more important for her in your playstyle. Damage is one thing, but Zyra (especially in the supp role) undoubtedly is one of League's annoying CC champs. She can't lock you in forever, but once she does, it'll be hard to get out due to how intense the slow is from her plants.
@@demitrityler6535 I didn't realize it increases stun duration when you upgrade E. It doesn't say that anywhere in the description or upgrade chart. I'll test it out in practice mode, thanks for the tip!

@@BrokenSupportPlants proccing Runes is fixed but they can still proc item effects, I tested adding Nashor's Tooth to the core build and plants hit like a truck, their damage increases by roughly 69% damage. No seriously, something around 70% damage increase.
I think they should fix her skills' tooltips because we don't know the AP scaling of her plants (they do scale with AP and currently in PC is 18% per attack) and the root duration also increases with every upgrade of E, not just the damage. Overall, nice game, Master. I do build her with AP, HP, and some CDR and MP. Better abuse the plants than her actual skills instead. 😅
I played around with it a bit in practice mode, and in case you're interested, the plants do 10-80 (depending on lvl)+10% AP damage. So they do scale with AP, just not a huge amount

I want to use it on her since her plants always get attack and it Last Stand will be benificial on them or do you perhaps have better runes for her? So maybe rushing liandry first is also ideal for mid laner and u can scortch more afterwards? But i still a big fan of the defensive runes. Much safer option to play with

What if you change lyandri to morello? Both are applied burn damage, but assuming enemy doesnt build hp, will it better to use morello? Also mandate work well on her right?
@brokensupport you should use kraken slayer.... when you get liandrys the plants autoproc the kraken slayer for you constantly by themselves.. pretty sure it's an oversight.
I'm not Broken but Aery's poke isn't that great. Just go for Electrocute instead. If we only had the Arcane Comet keystone here cause that one is perfect for her.

Broken support!! I need advice on how to carry teammates. I'm a Lux/Sera OTP Mid/Support main and every time I create an opening for my team to win, they throw it away and it actually pisses me off. This is on Diamond elo btw (I'm hardstuck d3)
I was originally a support main but got tired of people spamming "we need a tank" when I don't want to play tanks, they tilt pre-game and lose us the game, blaming me for not picking a champion role(tank) they could've picked instead.
Zyra does seem strong, i mean everything does when you play it, but when i went against zyra mid and i played Ezreal i won pretty easily, although i do have almost 1k games and idk if it's because of that or because the enemy didn't play zyra as good as you, but i didn't find it that difficult to play against

I think probably because they are both ranged and they always spam from abilities

I think that’s what I dislike about her. She’s high sustained damage but I like my quick kill combos like setting up Lux with the 1-3-4

Actually, the root duration also increases. But yeah, better if Q first and E second.
IMO depends on matchup, vs caitlyn you cant Come close to use Q. Vs lux/seraph you also dont want to be close.
