How to create Service Connection in Azure Devops? What is Service Connection ? Manual v/s Automatic

- In this session we are going to cover service connections in Azure Devops.
We have created Automatic and Manual Service Connections.
We have seen that how service principal is created for creating service connections.
Here for manual service connections, we need to register applications in Azure Devops and after registration we need to give required permissions to our service principal( registered Application) so that it can access the other resources of application.
Apart from giving permission(role assignments) , we also need to create the secret which will be used as Service key while creating service connection from Azure Devops.

Yes, we can keep secret in keyvault and can have a trigger on event when secret getting expired.
Can we do the service connection if we don't have any Azure Active Directory linked?
