Here's a really good tip for you Emma: When you need to use a restroom on the road, do not go to a grungy gas station/convenience store. Instead, go to a hotel like a Holiday Inn Express or something similar. They always have public restrooms in the lobby area and they are a heck of a lot nicer and cleaner than gas stations and there's usually no line either. They're sort of for customers so I usually buy a bottle of water or something from the vending machines there which makes me a customer, and that's fair for everyone. A much nicer experience.

I will never get over the fact that In America you can drive alone at 16! Y'all are so lucky. In Australia, you get your learners license at 16 and you have to drive with an adult for 120 hours during the day and 20 at night, so you usually finish that all when you're 18. 17 if you're hella lucky.

Aditi Malu you have to be 25 to get your license directly. You'll have to do the drivers knowledge test then practice with a fully licensed driver for a year before u drive alone

And she's freaking 16 I'm not even allowed to get a license till I'm 18. Plus I'm hella scared to drive in my town cause people drive like crazy and there's always traffic. And I don't even think my parents will buy me a car that's so not happening
katusha x true as a fellow European the longest I stayed in the road is about 3-4 hours and I wasn’t even driving, I took a coach and it was still exhausting somehow I kept falling asleep. So props to Emma for driving by herself that long.

That’s happened to me so many times, I’m not even joking. I’ve gone on road trips myself and when I’d stop at a gas station and ask for the bathroom the guys always say no and as I’m walking out they laugh and say just kidding and I WANT TO YELL AT THEM BECAUSE OMG I DONT HAVE TIME I NEED THE RESTROOM!
I will never get over the fact that In America you can drive alone at 16! Y'all are so lucky. In Australia, you get your learners license at 16 and you have to drive with an adult for 120 hours during the day and 20 at night, so you usually finish that all when you're 18. 17 if you're hella lucky.

Aditi Malu you have to be 25 to get your license directly. You'll have to do the drivers knowledge test then practice with a fully licensed driver for a year before u drive alone

p’s test- also am 17
angel totten lucky😂there are courses that you can do tho where you don't have to practice for as long if you attend and, if you drive with a professional instructor you cover double the hours

When my mum was teaching me to drive she was afraid of letting me go on highways too but since I got my own license I learnt driving on them is actually fine, but I was nervous about them for sooo long! Don't let your parents pass their fear on to you
