I went there on the boat . It was beautiful 😍 but it was a bit rough for a while some people got sea sick including me . Boat took about 2 hrs ? Even watched a big sea turtle swimming near the boat. 🙂 .
we did the boat because we love boats, as I recall we were on the island for 4 hours, the boat was excellent, loved the island tour, highly recommend going to the dry Tortugas. we homebase in florida and go to the keys at least twice a year
* * * What a fun adventure. . . it's probably the only 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐚𝐭 in this hemisphere... (wink) Great clarity and lighting... good interview. . . * * * Clear skies, light winds, and smooth roads. . . * * * Until that time. . .
I was looking for the anchorage , finally saw it from the plane. We sailed before we bought the RV. You leave mainland way before sun up , sail all day and hope to arrive before sunset. So you can get a mooring ball or set an anchor. Did you notice ,no bugs there??? Many people sleep out in the open , under the stars because you dont get bit up. Good video , thanks. See you on the road...
That was such a great video. I am going to truck camp in there. Thanks for sharing an amazing video! I will take a truck camper on the ferry. Very cool.
Awe thank you. We have been going thru some tough times and have needed to just "life". We are currently working our way home to Washington State and hopefully when I am surrounded by friends and family I will get my mojo back and back to editing. If you want more day to day interaction with us we do post daily on our FB group page Pau Hana Ohana. I think we are about to embark on our way to Alaska things will change for the better as we will be headed back to our happy place.
No. Just taking a little break. We’ve had a rough couple of months and are trying to reset. Life sometimes gets in the way and is important to focus on. We hope to be back soon.
If you camp there the night sky must be something else !
Looks like the seaplane was the way to go! Great views!

I’ve done the boat many years ago and went they the seasickness too. This is why we flew. So worth it in comparison plus more time on the island.
Another great adventure, thanks guys.
So spectacular!!! Great job, you guys!
Great video, thanks for sharing your travels.

Worth the trip and so much fun when the people leave
Hopefully some day we can say we camped there also!

Unfortunately it is only a passenger ferry... no room for cars. But you can tent camp. It would be amazing.
Hey dude good video I’m going to the keys this summer and planning on taking the seaplane (only if we are driving to the Florida keys tho)
What a fun excursion. We'll have to do that the next time were in the Keys. We did explore the fort on Key West.
We had a blast at the dry tortugas also- how fun to have taken an airplane to the island!
I’ve done it both ways and by plane is by far the best way to do it!
I believe you!!! We were sick on the boat 💕
You found the remains of a Seabiscuit, close relative to sand dollars and starfish
How long do you get to stay on the island total? Vs the ferry?
You can also stay full day at island with seaplane but costs more
Where are you Pau Hana? Missing you, so much, I hope you aren't sick or having an emergency. PLease come back to your faithful followers.
