I pretty much saw indifference from my peer group of sullen millennials but that was to be expected. We got a 4 day bank holiday and certain things weren't operating at full capacity for a week or two. Then everyone quietly moved on as it was kinda expected. Diana on the other hand... The reaction to that by everyday people was insane and almost baffling to my child brain, crying in the street, bouquets of flowers everywhere. Maybe I'm just being dramatic but it was such an odd situation. I would love to know what other people's experiences were like.
