The T5 Overlord was my first unresponsive yoyo, and has been beaten up a bit already. I recently picked up the 2020 version to have as my main and the original I converted over to a responsive. LOVE THIS YOYO

Just ordered one as my first unresponsive . 30 years old , loved yo-yos back in the late 90s , recently got back into them and wowzers has it changed since then . I still thought the pinnacle was the bumblebee by Playmaxx

It happened before covid but I kept a cheap magic yoyo in my work desk for when my coworkers were like "can I try that?!?" It worked out great because if it hit the floor I wasn't worried about it. Not only for the finish but damn can they take a beating for the price point.
Never would have tried MYY without your videos and Ive purchased about 15 of them since... and counting. ;)

It should not rust. I’ve never had a bearing rust. They are stainless steel.

Yes, most bearings will rust if strings are left wound on the yoyo except ceramic ones.
It mightn't sound like it makes sense, but a string holds more moisture than ambient air, and when wound around the bearing subjects the bearing to that moisture. I've had bearings build up slight surface rust in a month of sitting in my cases with strings on. Could probably get a photo of one if anyone cares enough.
Stainless steel doesn't rust easy, but it still will eventually. SS is a family of over 150 different steels, with varying rust resistances, so it'll also vary on bearing manufacturer.

Nerixel My bad. I know there’s wicking where the string on a bearing attracts moisture. I just never experienced it or heard many people talking about rusty bearings. I am still wondering if I should remove strings from all my yoyos I may not use for awhile. Would you recommend this?

@@chrisfrancz I do. I have 2-3 yoyos I leave strings on and the rest I just put a string on if I want to use.
I think in one of Dylan's annual collection videos he talks about storing all of his with no string.

magic yoyo n8 is around that price on ebay, but it's a very small yoyo. If you can put a little more I'd recommend the magic yoyo y01 node or the n11, both around 10-15$ I believe

Dylan, I have a yoyo n8 I bought it two weeks ago, and I used to play with it constantly, but I noticed a few days ago that the inner circle responsible for the rotation of the yo-yo managed to rust, so what is The problem is it from the thread, because the thread has become worn and lean, and it takes on the color of black I have another thread, only one thread came with it, so what is its solution, does this rust affect the rotation and stability of the yo-yo, please give my answer.
