Love love love this video! I am a teacher and love the sneaker tends. I need you to make a video with these sneakers showing what to pair them with please.
I love that sneakers are on trend. Comfortable and useful. I want them and ballet flats to stay in style forever! I’m going to go try on some Sambas tomorrow. Thanks, Jamie! 👏😀
Love all the color options. Comfort and stylish! I can't deal with high heels. Love all the flat options available now. And yes I love adidas! I have sambas and handball and totally love them. Will keep wearing even if not on trend. Pumas too!
Great picks. i love sneakers and already have about 40 different pairs, but lately, i have been wearing Western boots they seem to be more comfortable 😊
I have seen some retro Van's that are on trend and seem like they would be fun to wear! Here is one pair that I liked rstyle.me/+3Sj-wv6gd3X5dmbT3flWcg
Aloha from Honolulu! Thank you for such an informative video on Sneaker Trends for Fall 2024! I am still wearing the all white sneakers with mostly everything but after seeing this video, I will surely venture out and get some sneakers with some color now! Maybe Adidas Samba for styling? My go- to sneaker for workouts and walking is Hoka Rincon 4 and I have them in so many colors!
@@derbywinner6316 I purchased them either from Macy's or directly from Amazon. I can wear Big Kid sneakers and they are cheaper than adult sneakers and the selection is often different. Hope that helps.
I wore white Tretorn tennis shoes with my suits to commute to work every day (shoe tree full of pumps under my desk) 1982 though 1990, then switched to white leather Reebok's, then white leather Nike's, then I traveled to Ireland. When I noticed that Americans could be identified by their white sneakers and blue jeans ; I have been hunting colored sneakers since 2004 and I could not be happier with this trend. It is pure joy for me. And it feels like the planets have aligned because my retired lifestyle and health strategies dovetail with this trend. Woo,-hoo!!!
@@eileencarroll6418 jeans and white sneakers is not dressing badly. It looks like you are trying to be snobby like many Europeans. If you don’t want to be considered a ‘bad American’ just behave better, clothes won’t fix that for you. As a Canadian I know many Canadians look down on Americans and judge them because they don’t know any. I lived in Western North Carolina for 10 years and knew some of the finest, most generous people ever. It breaks my heart to see them suffering like they are now. Hating yourself is wrong, but if you are ashamed of being American maybe you need to focus on your character, and try to be proud to be an American. Try being more like the beautiful people in WNC.
@@Katrn30 It sounds like my comments struck a defensive chord in your heart. I don't think dressing well is snobby or a sign of self hate. I do believe how we dress expresses our respect and care we have for the people and situations we encounter in our activities and our travels (like dressing one way for a funeral, another way for grocery shopping and another way for cleaning the garage). Traveling gave me a chance to observe how people from different countries approach the way they dress when they travel. Some people were very practical about wearing high tech fabrics for walking outside in the weather. Locals seemed to dress in spite of the weather and did not seem to mind getting wet. Either way, I observed a sense of awareness and care for their appearance among the Europeans. Simplicity, creativity and polished style were consistent traits. They inspired me to be more thoughtful about the way I present myself and to consider clothing and accessories beyond the typical "American uniform". Colored sneakers were one of those options. Color can be fun, creative and elevating. Colored footwear camouflages scuffs better than white leather and stays nice looking longer on a walking trip. Colorful scarves are another effective way to change up outfits without adding weight to a suitcase. Lightweight fleece and wool or cashmere make for lightweight layers that always hang nicely, look neat and wear well. Quick drying fabrics were again, lightweight and polished looking. Jeans are heavy, soggy in the rain and while comfy, they can look a little limp by comparison. More European women seemed to wear skirts and dresses. This also turned out to be very practical and polished looking. A polyester crepe dress takes almost no suitcase space, weighs almost nothing and can be hand washed or spot cleaned and dry overnight. This was eye opening. The overall effect gave Europeans an appearance of care and respect. They inspired me. I had not been aware that I had become so used to dressing like an American that I was missing so many opportunities to do better, to pay more attention and to express myself with more awareness. I love traveling and meeting and learning from many different types of people. It is always eye opening. I am glad that you had many good experiences in North Carolina. I have friends in Black Mountain and have spent some time down around Asheville, Warren Wilson, Blue Ridge and Nantahala. It is a beautiful area filled with much music, art and adventure. Locals have deep traditions and welcome outsiders with grace. I hope their infrastructure is repaired quickly and their community heals. They are suffering immensely and I pray for their resilience and feel for their losses. I hope the friends you made during your time there are recovering well. ❤️
Jamie, after watching this video, I suddenly HAD to have a pair of burgundy sneakers for this fall! I looked at some of the ones you linked but, unfortunately, none were available in my size. 😢 I did however find a leather pair on Earth's website in dark red that will fit the bill. 😊 Thanks for the great video! ❤
I am sorry none of the ones in the video were your size but I am so glad you found a pair you liked! That will be a great color for fall and winter any year!
I never liked wearing sneakers in the fall/winter and I couldn't figure out why. I finally realized it's the white soles that, in my opinion, don't look good with jeans. I ordered the Madden Girl Giia sneakers last night in the taupe color with brown soles. I'm looking forward to wearing them on repeat this season!
Love this video! Sneakers work so well for my active retirement lifestyle and I appear to have several. 😊 Am finding Keds a really great fit for my narrow feet and their elevated (triple layer) styles add height to my 5'1" frame. I see they have a couple of runner styles, which I must check out as my workout trainers are overdue for an upgrade. Thanks Jamie for all your research on this topic.
Thank you for doing this because I’m always wondering if my sneakers are updated. I have a really nice chunky pair from Walmart that’s white and tan. They’re very big and boxy and I’m not used to that I wear them and they’re very comfortable but I like the short streamline sneakers is what I usually wear.
I'm definitely having flashbacks to the 70s with all the colorful suede Addiddas sneakers 😊 I already had a pair of leopard hightops so I guess I'm ahead of the trends. I would like a pair of brown or camel/tan sneakers since I already have black. I did find a pair of Chuck style low profile sneakers in wine/cranberry which made me happy since I have a lot of that color in my Fall wardrobe & they were pretty cheap (Walmart)
Thank for sharing! You are definitely ahead of the trend with those! That's great you found those sneakers! I want to add a brown, leopard and burgundy pair to my wardrobe this season so I better get started, lol!
It is Not from a baby cow. It's just the hair side of a cowhide. Cowhide is used for leather but it's less common to use the side with hair. It's from an adult cow. Calf hair is hard to maintain & clean and I don't want the extra hassle.

i survived platform sneakers once. lol. i just think it’s a trend that will come and go quickly and is a pass for me. i like to invest in pieces i feel i can wear for years and to me these scream 2024
I’d like to see these sneakers paired with outfits
Great, thanks for letting me know!

Me too!

Thank you very much!
Love all these great colors! I see some suede and metallic in my future.
Me too! Thanks!
I love your channel and you have such beautiful hair!
Thank you so much!! You are so sweet! 😊
I have the Madden Girl in leopard (I switched the laces to black), the green, the burgundy and the pink multi versions. I purchased them from Macys.
That's great! I have the green and need to get the leopard and burgundy!
I'm a new subscriber, and I truly appreciate your warm and kind spirit.
Oh, thank you so much! I'm glad you are here! ❤️
I want them all!! Thanks for sharing these.
You are so welcome! Me too!
I love that sneakers are on trend. Comfortable and useful. I want them and ballet flats to stay in style forever! I’m going to go try on some Sambas tomorrow. Thanks, Jamie! 👏😀
I love that they are too! It's my favorite kind of shoe! I hope you like the Sambas!❤️
That is the beauty of sneakers, they will always be on trend. They're beyond a trend, they are staples.
I found black suede New Balance sneakers with rose gold trim at Nordstrom Rack. They go with everything!!
Oh nice! I bet they are cute!

In Adidas Samba, I have black, white, forest green and Barbie pink❤

I just bought my first adidas samba in white-green. Could you please share where do you find black? Thank you
