Sorry I'm super new at this...when I follow the link and want to download, say, the Disney Dream Treats for animation, how do I do it so I can use it in Cheetah3D? When I downloaded it and tried to open it I was told that it couldn't be opened.
On the Cheetah 3D website it lists all the 3D model formats which you can import into the software. For instance, OBJ and FBX. You can find out which one your 3D model is by looking at the extension at the end of the file name. OBJ ends with .obj, FBX ends with .fbx, and so on. Depending on where you get your model from their might be multiple formats you can download it as. If you are still unable to find a compatible file type, you could download blender and see if you can import the 3D model there. Then, you can export the model from blender as a .obj and open it in Cheetah 3D. Hope that helps!
Great Video, well done, I learnt cheetah rigging and textures with ease, keep up the good work young fella.
Thank you so much. I wish you luck with your future animations!
