4449 to Dunsmuir - Railfair 91 - At (

This video is about chasing the 4449 from Roseville up the SP eastside line to Dunsmuir, California.
4449 was returning to Portland after attending Railfair 91 at the California Railroad museum in Sacramento in May 1991.
We follow the line north past Marysville along the US 99 highway. North of Redding 4449 crosses Shasta Lake on the double deck Pitt River bridge.
We follow 4449 up the Sacramento River Canyon to Dunsmuir where it picks up 2 SP diesels to climb out of the canyon at Cantara Loop.
At Azalea we say goodbye as it continues north to Oregon.
