I watched meteor garden part 1 May 2016...all 27 episodes but found myself clicked through each episode to forward it to something that I wish is worth watching but to my dismay, I just don't get Sanchai's constant "I am not sure what I fell and oh BTW, I realized that I like you but I can't tell you and I will just suffer through it" But I decided to pushed through and decided to watch Part 2, and by the time they got to Spain and he got into an accident.....I throw in the towel and decided...enough is enough, the Korean version of "Boys Over Flowers" is a much better version for me.
Your loss! P.S the so-called Korean ver took the story and ideas from this! This was the base for both Japanese and Korean ver even tho the original story was taken from the manga and anime as this was the most popular ver to exist! Season 2's story was also in Korean ver too so yeah! STOP FREAKING COMPARING VERSIONS! This was the base that gave idea to all of them!
