DAMN... It's very hard to believe Michael Landon has been gone for 30 years. I feel I grew up with him since the first time I seen him in an episode of the Rifleman. His daughter, Jennifer sure has the acting talent her father had. You "GO" Jennifer... Keep it up!!!
I binged on a Yellowstone marathon this past weekend and fell in love with this incredible, intelligent and realistic drama...amazing Kevin Costner production! Adding Teeter to the show was a blessing and I loved the character. Jennifer Landon rocked the part! Prior to the marathon I had never bothered to watch the show; man, what a mistake. It is now my favorite and I'll be anxiously awaiting the next season, locking myself in my man cave with the popcorn machine and my fridge filled with adult beverages.

She’s INCREDIBLE!! She seems so down to earth too in her interview with the guys from Yellowstone. I can’t wait to see how she’ll grow the character. They said they needed someone mean and ugly, but really they found someone so versatile and talented that they can play mean and ugly while being beautifully graceful. First time I ever saw her in a scene on Yellowstone, I saw that there was a beautiful woman behind that dip and dirt💚

I had no idea when she first came on Yellowstone I just liked her character and she plays it perfectly. After finding out this is Michael Landon's daughter I saw the resemblance, especially her eyes. My Wife and I have been watching Little House on The Prairie with the Grandkids and I grew up watching Bonanza. It was especially touching for me to know his daughter is following in his foot steps.... albeit in an R rated format. Michael was always pretty clean, perhaps it was due to the era of his time?
I want to say she is my favourite character in the show, but there are so many totally amazing characters, I wouldn't want to slight any of the other (main) characters. Let's just say that she stands out. It's a wonderfully layered character as well, and Jennifer does an amazing job of revealing those depths while still holding on to her hard as nails central persona. I never want the show to end, but I guess we have to accept how hard the cast and crew have to work to create a series like Yellowstone, and allow them a proper break. Not that Teeter could come close to burning out.
Just about done the 4th season and I was pissed they kicked her off the ranch, but then they let her stay. Like Jimmy, she makes the comedy of the show work really well.
My Wife and I, are huge Fans of Yellowstone, we both liked the character "Teeter" (Tater) does not matter because using either name she is great. Discovering Jennifer is Michael Landon's Daughter, was amazing. I watch Her coming out of the Gate, and sure looks like Her Roping a Calf. She is a Great Addition to the Show, and now She is branded, so She ain't going nowhere.
I thought the same thing. And at first I couldn’t understand a thing she was saying in the bunkhouse. Except the swearing and sexual innuendo... that I understood ! No worries! Haha!
When she first appeared i assumed she was a real ranch hand turned actor for an authentic looking guest role.. A credit to her acting abilities for sure

Cathi FAM Journey the script doesn’t create the over the top, ignorant sounding, insult to the intelligence of actual Texans accent; she does. I’m sure she is a fine enough actress but that over done accent is so distracting and irritating I can’t tell for sure .
I have to for the entire show. Costner is the worst; barely loud enough and mumbles all his lines. Still, is my absolute fave show on television. But get rid of all the extra characters; too much distraction. Love Teeter, but those rodeo girls have got to go.

Teeter reminds me of one of my ex-girl friends. I'm from nebraska & she was from deep South alabama. She was strong willed, tough as nails & didn't take shit off anybody. She moved back home & I stayed to take care of my parents. We're still good friends. After her all women seem to bore or annoy me, too much drama & always want to beat around the bush instead of saying right up front what's on their mind.
I said same thing!! I'm from the Lowcountry where the Gullah speak, and I can understand and appreciate their dialect so much more. She is just plain ridiculous, way too "dramatic" in this role trying to stand out. I mute the TV or leave the room when she shows up. Lol

Still beautiful and fit, with all her teeth, and she's in her mid 50s

'landing the role' may have been a temporary thing based on last night's episode, but it's not unusual for characters to come and go in a cable series. FWIW, I'm also watching Mayor of Kingstown and its clear that Taylor Sheridan doesn't need spectacular scenery to create disturbing characters. I don't expect Disney to come knocking on his door anytime soon ;)
Teeter is a keeper! She is an entertaining personality, and a role model for girls. When John fired Teeter, he looked very misogynistic. He supports his strong daughter, who saved the ranch multiple times, but fired Teeter, because she is a girl even though she is branded and holds her own as a cowboy. I hope John rectifies his mistake. You go Teeter!
I like the series, even though Episode 3 of this season was cra* I do not know how to take this character, but I have met and worked with women like her when I used to do long field stints in the deserts. The biggest mistake I ever saw though when one of them, went into one of the local bars with us and tried to show how tough she was by hitting a Cowboy in the jaw. The cowboy laughed, then proceeded to knock her on her a**. As she sat there and looked at us guys, all we said, YOU GOT YOUR SELF INTO THE MESS.
She looks familiar because shes Michael Landons daughter. She has many of his features if you look at a young Michael landon, she looked just like her father.

But I’m a country boy from North Central Texas, And I don’t know anyone that speaks like that... not in my 58 years, and travel all over Texas, Oklahoma, kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana.
