- We are trying to go to the hardest island to reach in Japan and everything does not go as planned. I heard about Aogashima when Joona, a Finnish friend of mine living in Japan asked to borrow my tent to go camping in the middle of the ocean inside a volcano crater. I said that I want to go too. I heard that Aogashima is a village of around 165 people in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, almost 400km south from Tokyo. There is a shop, bar, school and a sauna on the island and the only access to Aogashima is through another island from around 80km away. From Hachijojima to Aogashima 4-5 ferries have been scheduled per week but usually half of them are canceled because of bad weather. We reaerved 6 days for the trip and as expected, our plan failed and we ended up messing around Hachijojima's paradise for 6 days. Let's see if we will ever get to Aogashima...
Thank you for watching! If you have any questions, feel free to comment and I will answer them. I will upload more hiking videos from Japan very soon so don't forget to:

Olipa mielenkiintoinen paikka.
Mietin just samaa.
@@vilpertzon Joo täällä on historian havinaa ihan arkielämässäkin. Pankkiin pitää tuoda paperinen vihko, johon kirjataan tiliote.
