The concept of sleeping in VR in a horror game is so cool- I can't imagine how scary it is to be under constant threat from everything trying to kill you in your sleep
agree bro. this kind of experience is very amusing to watch. so many possibilites, it is as if you try to sleep in someone elses dream/mind. a lot of great map in vrchat and gary mod
It's nice seeing someone new to Containment Breach play it I think the blinking is bugged in VR because normally 173 can move when you blink It would be fun to see you play more of this game, you know, without sleeping in it
Ironically after looking at the game wiki and how 106 spawns, if you chose to sleep at the starting area where 173 broke out of, you could actually sleep without being teleported all the time. 106 spawns literally everywhere in the facility at random except 173's chamber and rooms near it. Or you could play through the game and do the procedures to lock 106 back up in his cell to disable him but that one takes much longer unfortunately.
Ironic you get attacked by 106 (the old man) during the night constantly and the theme that plays when you are chased by 106 is called “bump in the night”
@@shenelljohnson74 In the game it looked like walking over the player he teleported them into that sewer area, then came after him and beat him to death. Funny that him lying there unconscious was kinda like roleplay.
The idea of 106 getting annoyed over you having the audacity to sleep on the floor of his pocket dimension instead of fearing for your life like everyone else makes the entire sleep segment more hilarious.
I saw some little dudes getting all excited and googling the SCP creatures outside of a corner shop with snacks and it filled me with happiness. The SCP creatures are really cool and I'm glad some kids were getting excited over these creatures instead of throwing rocks at cars like they do in my town.
I could not imagine falling asleep in a security office and waking up in a room with many doorways surrounding you. Would've been interesting to see you try to escape that when you woke up.
Best place to sleep is definitely the Upgrade Machines chamber. Safest room I think. You can, and should disable 106 (the old man) and maybe spend another night.
I like how 173 is so shocked about all this tea party situation so it's just standing in the corner awkwardly and doesn't know what to do. It was a really weird date, it thinks.
What a clever video idea! Very unique. Perhaps Subnautica would be a good game for this type of content? You could try setting up camp inside the destroyed ship, The Aurora. If your rules say that you can build a base within the game itself, you could set up somewhere deep in the ocean instead of on the ship. The game has a creative mode. If the goal is to be scary, I suggest picking an area that is near a Leviathan. Like the FNAF video you could play some of the actual game and use creative when you sleep.
Do this with a friend. Also love your videos, one thing I always liked is making like my own little space in a scary place. Like the room you made in the back rooms, and then blocking off all entrances and exits
A scenario where you are a survivor awaiting evacuation from a SCP complex is definitely scary. I mean. You have to run away and hide most of the time as most of the creatures can't be killed. But the image of rescue team having trouble reaching you and you have to fend for yourself while they are on their way is stressful. But imagine it lasts not for Hours, but Days, you will have to find a "safe" place to rest or otherwise you will slowly die from the exhaustion and stress. Brrrr... definitely an experience that would make you paranoid.
This idea is absolutely TERRIFYING. If you were to wake up suddenly in an unfamiliar environment like this- you would definitely have forgotten about the oculus rift on your head for a while and believe that you are ACTUALLY there. That would be so horrifying
I'm so sorry you had to experience this without any knowledge of any of the SCPs, you have made something amazing that brings in many VR enthusiasts including myself. Keep it up!!!
Love the “sleeping in” stuff, one thing you should try is into the radius, there is a bit of challenge and there is a day and night cycle and such, little horror aspect but definitely a lot to explore and a lot to avoid at the same time
Containment breach has such an incredible atmosphere with such incredible horror elements, when its ported into vr with labrat I almost shit myself just loading into a game.
I love the video, but if it was me doing this probably one of my first goals would be containing scp-106 as fast as possible while not triggering 049 and other scps that chase you
ok I'll help you explain: The SCP Foundation (SCP standing for Secure. Contain. Motto of the foundation goes as: "We die in the dark so others can live in the light." and the foundations pure goal is to keep humanity safe.

Not sure about your motivations to start sleeping in VR environments, but you bring attention to a whole other level of interaction and emersion in VR that I'd never once thought of before. Very cool!
the 2nd SCP you experienced in the dark was SCP-939 aka the voices it had no eyes so it can only rely on the voices. The place where a lot of doors you have to pick that was 106's pocket dimension I'm pretty sure if you get the wrong door it will kill you.
