Sorry for not responding sooner. I used a Stanley Fatmax flush saw. You can pick it up and almost any tool shop and it's relatively inexpensive. It's one of my favourite saws for wood working.
You're most welcome Ursa. Yes I agree it was designed to fit a thicker blade however I love the Stanley Fatmax flush saw so much I went through the trouble to think up a way I could use the jig with my flush saw, it worked a treat.

Think I prefer to go for a thicker blade rather than the masking tape method but thanks for the vid 👍
