Agreed. Personally I find his older videos a lot better than the newer ones. They have "more soul" in them, seeing as he was making videos about affordable hoopties, rather than "hoopties" with a 5-6 digit price tag. My personal favorite is his video about the 1993 Lexus ES300 5-speed he bought for only $200. Once he got it washed and detailed, it was sooooo enjoyable to look at. Edit: Oh and of course his 1996 Buick Park Avenue Ultra is one of his best purchases in my opinion.
What I've learned is that you should figure out if the manufacturer got cute with the engineering that year. His Aston Martin Rapide seems like a decent deal since it has Ford parts, so it should be pretty cheap to own from a mechanical standpoint. The electronics and interior would be expensive to maintain, but at least the parts that make it drive should be cheap to maintain.

The day you pick it up, the day I bought my 1991 300E Merc, it was a one owner, my Doctor in fact, I was so lucky, you couldn't fault it. 106,000 km for $6000 drove for 1 year, now it sits in the back of my garage with a cover over it, ok, it's a common model and worth nothing, but it's immaculate and he paid $128,000 in 1991. So it is a very special car to me, very high quality, very uncomplicated and most of all, when I drive it, it smells and drives like new.

You probably need to sew/re-attach the elastic strap that squeezes the sides together when the top retracts. That will keep the top from spilling out the sides of the window frame when it goes up.

I have always loved the 996 and the melting headlights, it's one of my favorite Porsches, I remember getting Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed for the PC on my 7th birthday and playing it all the time and still do, the 996 was so cool to me, I always have loved the looks, it wasn't till I got older that I found out how everyone hated the 996 and it's headlights especially, I think the 996 is a beautiful and very underrated car and Porsche ❤️

The Porsche 911 will always be the best looking currently made car until they stop making it. They're maybe not as gorgeous as a chevelle or nova imo but I will always want one. I loved seeing the smile across your face as you grew accustomed to your latest purchase. Were all jealous, and will probably remain so until you share how much these repairs cost on future vids. Either way its probably worth more than you paid and we couldn't be happier for you.
He has gotten better at buying them the past 6 months plus he pays attention to coolant and oil pressure gauges and has better understanding of the mechanical parts of the cars.

I have an '02 Cabrio with 127K miles on it. It is working on needing a clutch and I have a small leak in the rear main seal. I bought it used with 72K miles so I don't know if the IMS has ever been replaced. I will take it in this spring and have clutch, rear main seal and new LN Engineering IMS bearing done. And that will be my kid's inheritance gone. Great buy Hoovie, don't track this one please.

The Porsche 911 will always be the best looking currently made car until they stop making it. They're maybe not as gorgeous as a chevelle or nova imo but I will always want one. I loved seeing the smile across your face as you grew accustomed to your latest purchase. Were all jealous, and will probably remain so until you share how much these repairs cost on future vids. Either way its probably worth more than you paid and we couldn't be happier for you.

I have an '02 Cabrio with 127K miles on it. It is working on needing a clutch and I have a small leak in the rear main seal. I bought it used with 72K miles so I don't know if the IMS has ever been replaced. I will take it in this spring and have clutch, rear main seal and new LN Engineering IMS bearing done. And that will be my kid's inheritance gone. Great buy Hoovie, don't track this one please.

The whole reason I started watching and becoming interested in this channel was the LS swap.
I remember hearing a comment about the flat-6 Porsches at endurance races: At the start of the race they fired them up and they made that flat 6 rumble. And then at the end of the race they were still making that same sound - like they could keep on racing.
