How "Speedy" are Army Painter SPEED PAINTS? Tested on Blood Rage

    I am just about to paint my Blood rage set and would be more than happy if it turned out half as good as this. Some very useful tips and will take on a lot of what you said. Thanks.

      Glad I could help. I REALLY can't stress enough that the primer I used was AWFUL. Strongly recommend just getting some Citadel Wraithbone or Army Painter spray primer!

      I use testors spray lacquer usually. Sometimes I use ak interactive ultra matte varnish through the airbrush.

    You would have gotten a better result if you had used a quality primer. Rattlecans have their place and it is NOT on miniatures.

      Yeah, I should have sprung for some cans of Citadel or Army Painter primer. I just used what I had in the garage. I would normally airbrush prime, with "speed" being the theme, I didn't want to take the time to do that.
